Proto Man: New York City may appear to be your average normal city but in the world of Marvel Comics it is anything but normal.
Knuckles: Damn straight I mean there's lots of superheroes who live in that area but the iconic one is everyone's friendly neighborhood, Spider-Man.
Proto Man: But before he became the iconic wall crawler we all know and love he was known for as Peter Parker.
Knuckles: Living a life with his aunt and uncle, Peter was just your average nerd at school and that means he's a target of bullying. Something I'm pretty sure Tails can relate to.
Proto Man: But one day everything changed. While on a school field trip Peter by some strange coincidence was bitten by a spider not just any spider but a radioactive spider that gave him superpowers similar to that of a spider.
Knuckles: And you can bet Pete totally crapped himself when he finally realizes that he's not longer that vulnerable nerdy lad but a super buff chad. With these new powers Peter decided to live the easy life and earn some money for a girl. He's acting like such a prick that he didn't even bother stopping a burglar. Too bad that would soon turn out to the biggest mistake of his life after said burglar put dear Uncle Ben 6 feet under.
Proto Man: Horrified that his selfish actions led to his uncle's death, Peter decided to take the most greatest advice of all time: With great power comes great responsibility. And so Peter dropped the easy life and instead used his powers for good by becoming a superhero vigilante to fight crime and save lives. And that's how he became Spider-Man.
Knuckles: I feel like a good old therapy session would help but hey whatever works.
Proto Man: Thanks to his newfound powers Spider-Man possesses superhuman strength, speed, durability, and stamina along with incriminating high jumps and reflexes and like many spiders he can climb up walls.
Knuckles: But let's not forget about Spider-Man's most iconic weapon: His two Web Shooters.
Proto Man: Thanks to his incredible genius, Peter can use these to shoot out webs that are much stronger than a normal spider web.
Knuckles: Spidey can use those things to swing across buildings, create bulletproof shields, helps him glide in the air, as well as make parachutes, balls, nets, raft, and club. Hey Proto Man do you think I can use webs like that?
Proto Man: I mean sure I guess but you would need to-
Knuckles: Great! I'll ask Tails to invent them right away.
Proto Man: But wait I didn't finish what I... and he's gone. (Sighs) Well I guess come back next time for Spider-Man's opponent, Ladybug.
