Chapter 1

I lay on the floor kicking the plain wall in front of me 'I want to get out if here how much longer must I do this for till I die?' I hated being left alone with my thoughts because sometimes it got really bad like remembering how Alex died or mum and dad even worse the bloodied room full of dead bodies as punishment for trying to escape I kicked the wall angry all of a sudden 'what did I ever do to end up here!?'

"Will you stop that infuriating kicking some of us are trying to rest over here!" A voice boomed from the other side off the wall.

"Oops sorry Miles!" I exclaimed sitting up "I'm just annoyed at that man!"

'That man meant boss or what ever the scientist's called him'

"Oh I forgot you were gone for a week right or did you just come back what happened anything new?" Miles quickly asked a lot of questions "the usual tons of zapping and just merely 'taming me' like they usually say" i muttered looking at my bandaged arm all of a suddenly tired even when I had been out for a day straight "boss kept saying weird things like soon enough and stuff I was half dead so I wouldn't know what he was saying". I heard Miles mutter something from behind the wall I never met Miles in person but he came four years ago and since he was one of the only people I ever met.

Other then Zack and Alex that is Zack being on the other side of the room he came last year like I said never met him just talked to the poor six year old kid who wanted to go home.

Alex was a friend before they killed him because of me...

Silence Miles must have went to talk to his other roommate what was her name Aurora that's what he had told me I sighed getting up my legs still hurt from being whipped on the knee's

"Elysia! Elysia!" Said a squeaky voice from the left side of the room "yes Zack" i muttered sitting on my bed
"did you hear did you hear!?" He exclaimed
"Hear what?" I sighed "we're gonna be aloud out a few of us are gonna be aloud out Jasper said so!" Zack said excitedly
I bit my lip 'if I ever meet this Jasper I'm going to knock his head into a wall and tell him to stop getting this poor kids hopes up! How the hell am I meant to say that's just a Lie going around!'

"Zack.. you know that not possible I've been here for eight years nearly nine" I tried "no it's true it's true! Jasper said that his roommate Daniel left telling him he was going to get free and he never came back he must be out there now! I can't wait can't wait they must be taking us back home to our families to our homes I can see mum and dad again!" I could just imagine a young six year old boy jumping up and down at the news.

'Poor Daniel lived a long life' I thought 'how the hell am I going to tell him Jasper is around my age right he should have common sense!'

"I can't wait!" Zack exclaimed "Zack" I sighed "it's not possible you're parents are most likely dead and you home is destroyed remember the war it's impossible I hate to say this but I think Daniel is dead" breaking it down to easy words for a kid wasn't easy "no! He's not dead he got out last night!" Zack exclaimed I wanted to bang my head into a wall "Zack-"

"Elysia!" Miles came from the other side of the room "Zack give me a second" i muttered "what is it!?" I exclaimed to Miles "I'm trying to get a six year old to understand how we're not getting out of here anytime soon"

"Ah sorry Aurora was saying that there's a rumour going around it's a lie though the scientists have said there letting some of us free the truth is they have started another major test" Miles explained "and there saying it could get really bad they've taken a few people over night-" "what's the new major test?" I asked quickly "I'm not sure" I heard Miles confused voice "what ever it is got everyone in panic apparently someone tried to escape as well but they were killed and hung down the hall Uranus saw it while he was leaving the room for his tests" "do you think they'll get one of us?" I asked silence "I'm not sure" Miles muttered "I hope they don't I've already gone though to much I don't think my body can take another major test" I whispered sitting down "then why don't we"Miles whispered the last part "escape"

"No way I won't not again never again I can't" I shook my head "why?" Miles asked "firstly if you wish to talk about that.. knock three times on the wall for that word got" I told him seriously "they got mics inside the cameras secondly I already tried hundreds of times I'd rather just die" "but-" "you can if you want to but I'm telling you things can go wrong horribly wrong" i muttered "Elysia..." I stayed silent "wasn't that ages ago?" He asked "it was a year ago Miles!" I exclaimed standing up "I don't want to talk about this anymore leave me be" I walked toward my bed lunging myself on it everything hurt my legs arms head like being banged over and over we'll it had been banged with a glass bottle and I was zapped for a week straight as well as beat up I sighed closing my eyes as everything went black.
