"What Golden Glow?", Vaishnavi asked Arjun. He looked at her confused and started to explain, just then Krishna came into the scene. "What are you guys talking about?", Krishna sat beside her. "Nothing much, Kanha. Just like that", Vaishnavi said.
They three sat in silence with their feet getting washed by the waves. The sun was totally gone by now as they could see the stars. Arjun started saying, "I will have to leave tomorrow, Madhav! After your wedding". Krishna looked at him and said, "Why so soon, Parth?". "My Mother and my brothers are waiting for me in Varnavat. Duryodhan has sent us there in the form of gratitude", Arjun said, looking at the sea. "Wait! Did you say Varnavat?", Vaishnavi asked him thinking about something. "What else did you hear?", Arjun said back, smirking. Krishna was just smiling at them.
'Varnavat means... Shit! Lakshagriha!!!'

The Mehndi ceremony was on full swing. Every ladies are getting their beloved names on their hands. Rukmini and Vaishnavi were sitting together, while Devaki, Revati and Subhadra sat together. Vaishnavi was sitting there with her extended hands, lost in thinking something.
"Princess! What should we write on your hand?", the mehndi designer asked her. She did not respond to her. "Princess?", the woman shook her by her shoulders. She shrieked and looked at her and said, "Ah?". "What should I write here?", the woman asked her again. She didn't understand what she was saying and she again replied, "Ah?". The woman nodded knowingly and continued with her design. Vaishnavi just shook her head not understanding why the woman asked her the question. This was all new to her, asking names and all for a mehndi.
Rukmini looked at her being lost. She smiled subtly and softly called her, "Vaishnavi". The future girl looked at her and smiled. "He is with my Aarya", she said. Vaishnavi asked her confused, "Who Bhabhi?". "The guy who you are thinking about!", she replied teasingly. "What guy- oh! No no Bhabhi, There is nothing between me and Arjun. I was just thinking about him going to var-", she was cut off by a smiling Rukmini, "I didn't mention Arjun tho".
She just mentally facepalmed herself and couldn't explain what she was thinking. Soon, she also chuckled back. "He is a very good guy, Vaishu. He is a perfect match for you. Don't break his heart", Rukmini said. "I- why would I break his heart Bhabhi? I would never do that. And, I was not thinking about that. I was thinking about something else", she replied.
"Princess, Your mehndi is done!", the designer woman told. "Wow, show me! Whose name did you get written?", Rukmini asked her excitedly. "Name? What name?", Vaishnavi asked confused. "Usually If you like someone, their name or their initial will get written on your hand", Rukmini explained. Vaishnavi did a 'oh', and was about to say that she didn't mention anyone's name. But just then, Rukmini noticed the letter written on her hand and exclaimed, "Yeah! I found it. Oh hoo. Now, explain this to me Vaishu", Rukmini threw a mischievous look on her. Confused, she looked at her hands and got shocked to find the word on her hand.

The Sangeet ceremony also started and Vaishnavi was hosting it. The instruments Pitamah gave her came to use finally. She explained the instrumentalists how to play the song she wanted. The mehndi in her hands dried up, and was itching her hand.
She doesn't remember when this happened. Her saying the word 'A'. She was donning a colourful lehanga with her wavy hair was open with her hairstyle being waterfall braid. Suddenly, a person came behind her, shook her shoulders and said, "boo", making her hold those hands, twist them and get that person in front of her. "Ahh! Leave me! Leave me Miss DSP", The person shrieked. She left his hands at hearing those words, turned around and spoke, "It was all in past Kanha! I'm not a DSP anymore. I resigned when Virat-", she tightly closed her eyes, trying to forget it. "Anyways, why did you scare me?", she asked him, diverting the topic. "You were scared? I thought you were gonna thrash me away", he said gasping.
She just rolled her eyes at him and went towards the door. But she stopped as soon as Krishna asked her a question, " Are you worried about something, sakhi?". She turned around and said, "Yes Kanha. You know what happens in Varnavat and you are still letting him go there? This is not done". "I can't do anything about it Vaishnavi! What is written will happen", he replied to her. She started saying, "But,I can stop it right? I will tell him what will happen and will stop-", but was cut off by Krishna who said, " You won't be able to, my dear. Even if you try, you will not be able to tell anyone anything that will happen", he told. Her face went down and she asked, "But why Kanha?". He replied smiling at her, "As I told you, what is written will happen".
"Princess! We are ready. Shall we start our performance?", the instrumentalists came and asked her. She just looked at Krishna, who nodded at her. "Yeah! Let's go", she said and started leaving the place. As she came out of the room, she bumped into someone. "Ouch!" She said looking at the person. "Hmm. At times you have to use your eyes to look at the person who is standing in front of you, Vaishnavi. Not just for rolling your eyes at others", the person said. "Arjun! It's just I'm late for my performance", she told and started to go, but Arjun held her hand and pulled her.
She was about to bump into him again, but she balanced herself. "What? Tell me soon!", she said in a hurry. Arjun just smiled at her and said, "You are forgetting something", and pointed at a nearby mirror. She looked at herself in the mirror, with him standing behind her. Through mirror, she looked at him and asked, "What?". He pointed at her forehead for her to realise that she forgot to keep her Bindi. She touched her bare forehead and closed her eyes at her stupidity. She saw a nearby box filled with Kumkum and went there to apply, but her Mehndi hands were not allowing her to hold Kumkum. He just chuckled at her cuteness.
Accepting the defeat, She immediately turned towards him and asked him something , which shocked him.
