Chapter 35.

As they settled into the living room, Karishma sat beside Haseena, her eyes fixed on her with a mix of curiosity and apprehension. Santu and Pushpa exchanged nervous glances, their minds racing with possibilities.

"Is this bad news?" Santu asked, her voice laced with concern. "Should we brace ourselves for impact?"

Pushpa whispered, "Or maybe we'll need sweets to celebrate?"

Haseena's smile grew wider. "Actually, it's the latter. Something sweet is coming your way."

Just then, Shivani burst into the room, a bright smile on her face.
"Hey, wait, wait, wait! Let me join the party too!" She plopped down beside Santu, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Haseena laughed.
"Perfect timing, Shivani. We're about to share some exciting news."

The group leaned in, their faces filled with anticipation. Karishma's eyes never left Haseena's face.

"Come on, Haseena, spill the beans!" Noor exclaimed, her eyes twinkling with amusement.
"I think I'm going to pass out from all these shocks!"

Haseena took a deep breath, her face radiant with joy.
"Karishma and I are working through our issues... and I want to be with her, forever."

The room fell silent, the only sound being the collective holding of breath. The family and friends exchanged knowing glances, their faces filled with a mix of surprise and delight.

Haseena broke the silence, her voice filled with excitement.
"I know you guys are thrilled, don't try to hide it! Come on, share your thoughts!"

Pushpa sprang from the couch, wrapping Haseena in a tight embrace
"We're beyond thrilled, Haseena!"

"Your words have worked their magic once again! Pushpa ji"  haseena whispered, her eyes shining with happiness.

As they hugged, Santu and Shivani erupted in cheers,
"Oooohoooooooo!" Shivani rushed to Karishma, enveloping her in a warm hug.

"You did it, Karishma! I knew you were the only one who could bring Haseena back!"

Santu joined in, hugging Haseena tightly. "We're so happy for you both! This is the best news ever!"

The room filled with laughter, tears of joy, and the warmth of their love and acceptance.

Haseena gazed at her mother, Noor, and noticed a hint of emotional depth in her eyes. She sat beside her, placing her hand on Noor's, and asked softly,
"Ammi, what's wrong? Aren't you happy?"

Noor's face lit up with a warm smile as she gazed at her daughter. She leaned in, her lips brushing against Haseena's forehead in a gentle kiss.

"I'm overjoyed, beta," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.

"I can't even express how happy I am for this decision. Karishma and you have been through so much together... and every time you've been apart, you've come back stronger. I'm so proud of you both."

A tear rolled down Noor's cheek as she enveloped Haseena in a warm hug, holding her close as if never wanting to let her go. Haseena felt a surge of love and gratitude for her mother's unwavering support and acceptance. In this moment, she knew that she had made the right decision, and that her mother would always be there to support her, no matter what.

Haseena paced back and forth, engrossed in her call, when she noticed Karishma lurking near the door, trying to remain unnoticed. With a sly smile, Haseena said,
"Wait, I'll call you back," and hung up the phone.

"Karishma, you can come in," Haseena said, her eyes sparkling with amusement. Karishma hesitated, then entered, her eyes fixed on Haseena's face.

"Haseena, I was just... um... checking on you," Karishma stammered, her gaze darting around the room.
"Ammi was planning a trip for us, and I wanted to... uh... ask about it."
