Its been 7 years since the new castle was installed in the showgrounds and 2 years since Mario and Meggy sealed marriage, but something happens to Mario and Meggys daughter which could seal the entire crews fate.
Midway into their search Mario and Melony came across a church looking building.
Melony: Should we go inside?
Mario: Sure, someone could be in here.
They enter the church to a shocking sight.

Melony: Oh my god, what the hell happen?
Mario: Something, but what? Lets explore this room a little more.
The two searched the room until Melony found something, records of research by someone who Mario wasn't on good terms with, Doctor Wallace Breen.
Melony: Looks like someone was busy.
Mario: And in a rush.
Mario opened a notebook made by Breen and read, [Date, 23/55/20XW Subject 847, Wyatt Diego, the fusing of the animal and human are supposedly going to work, there are not many problems, and everything is going well, Wyatt earned himself Whindego because of how scared he was if the experiments. Date, 1/56/20XW, the experiment has failed, 4 of my generals defected, and the subject has fused in a murderous way, we have trapped it in a small compound, but we are trapped here too, do not get lost, it is out there and will find you. Mario: Something isn't right, for all we know they could all be killed... by this thing. *smacks the table*
Melony: Woah, calm down, we don't know if they are dead, besides it hasn't been too long, we just need to find them.
Anger washed over Mario, his plans had shifted like water, he had one last thing to do, according to the records Breen had forced nearly 500 people to afterlife for his tests, but the reason the government couldn't arrest him was because the Mushroom Kingdom had laws in put that prevented criminal charge because of scientific advancement and Peach had approved of this, but Mario knew what he had to do, and would take matters into his own hands.
Mario: Melony, go find any other survivors, I have some personal business to deal with.
Mario turned around after grabbing his gun and shot a statue of Breen from across the room.

Mario left the church in search of Breen and wouldn't let anyone else die because of him.
