Chapter Two: Deal with the Devil

"Y/N." Shio's voice beamed through the intercom placed at the girl's desk in front of the man's office.

"Y-Yes sir?"

"Office. Now."

Y/N took a shaky breath as she got up from her chair, grabbing a pen and block as she made her way into her boss' office.
In the office, she found almost all of the Yotsurugi brothers present.

"You called for me sir?"

"Y/N. Have you officially met my brothers?"

"N-Not that I can recall?", Y/N asked as she moved her balance from one leg onto the other. She was still getting used to her new shoes.

"Then let me introduce them, no?", Shio said as he started introducing each brother after the other, "And lastly, we have Hibaru. He's my heir until he's of age to take over."

"You look pretty", Hibaru smiled brightly at Y/N whose eyes widened at the boy's words as her cheeks grew redder which she tried to hide by burying her face in her block.
This did not go unnoticed by Shio whose expression ever so slightly darkened.

"Don't talk to Hibaru, got it?", Shio asked as he got up, securing his rolled-up sleeves before removing a strand of his hair which had fallen to the front from his usual slick-back style. Y/N just nodded as she started to button her blouse back up, her tear-stained face looking up at Shio who just glanced at her coldly.

"Go it?"

"Y-Yes boss...", Y/N sniffled as Shio grabbed onto the girl's upper arm rather harshly as he pulled her back onto her feet and pushed her onto the couch in his office.

"Good. Whiskey."

"No thank you. I don't dri-"

"I wasn't asking my dear", Shio spoke as he handed the girl the glass of the cold liquid as he held a second glass in his own hand. Shio sat next to the shaking girl, as calm as can be as he stared off into the distance while Y/N held her gaze down, looking at the glass in between her hands, curled up a bit away from Shio.

"Why?"

Shio just raised an eyebrow at the girl's question, taking a sip from the glass, "Why what?"

"Why do you do this to me?"

Shio smiled slightly into his glass, "Because I want to."

"So you think you can just do whatever, just because you want to?"

"Exactly", Shio said.

"That's cruel."

"The whole world is cruel. You should be the one to know it as well by now."

Y/N finally looked into Shio's eyes, "You're a cruel bastard."

At the girl's words the man started chuckling before he full on laughed at her words, "You're really something. You have some guts, I'll give you that."

Y/N took a shaky breath, "You're a sick man. A twisted one."

"I know that my dear. That is why you're under my control. That is why I'm so successful."

"So one needs to be cruel and sick to be successful?"

"Yes."

"Then our world is fucked."

"Our world as been fucked since it's creation. Animals eat each other to survive, humans kill each other to survive. There are greater dangers and worries in this world than what I'm doing to you."
