River's POV

Me and Riley have been talking a lot here recently and the fans on instagram are shipping us together because we hang out here and there when I showed up to the venue for AEW dynamite tonight it's gonna be hard because Brodie died on Saturday I walked in and saw Kenny when Kenny saw me he said "ohhh how's the boy toy doing?" I said "really?" Nick said "yeah we actually wanna know how he's doing?" I said "Riley is doing good and he's not a boy toy he's a friend" Matt said "oh but we're your friends and you don't always hang out with us?" I said sounding all hurt "I'm sorry is don't know you felt that way Matt" Matt said "I actually don't we were just teasing you" I said "I know" Darby said "hey River how's Riley?" I looked at Darby and said "why are you guys asking about Riley so much?" Darby said "because we know you guys are gonna get married" Matt said "and may I add also have babies together" I said "have you guys been planning my future with Riley this whole time?" Darby said "yeah pretty much" Tony came up to us and said "hey guys can I talk to you guys?" I looked at Tony and he looked upset I said "sure what's up Tony?" Toney said "so obviously you all know that Brodie died" I looked down to the ground and Kenny hugged me Nick said "tk why do you always have to ruin good moments and make them sad" Tony said "we'll have a Brodie lee celebration of life show tonight" Kenny said "alright" when Tony walked away Kenny looked at me Nick said "we all have to be strong for one another alright" I said "I know but it's hard"Matt said "we know it's hard for all us" we all group hugged and made our way to the ring to do the Brodie lee celebration of life once those ten bell rang we all walked backstage and I cried quietly in my car until I started the engine when I got back to the hotel I called will I needed him right now but he didn't answer so I called Riley when he answered I said "hey" Riley said "hey are you alright" I said "no I miss Brodie" Riley said "oh yeah I heard about that I was gonna text you and tell you sorry for your loss but at this point you probably have already heard over a thousand times" I laughed and said "yeah he was a great person and a beautiful soul" Riley said "he's in a better place now" I said "hey where are you" Riley said "I'm in Florida right now why?" I said "so am I I'm in Jacksonville" Riley said "oh cool do you want to come over to this hotel I'm staying at and you can stay the night because by the sounds of it your lonely and you need someone to talk to" I said "yeah sure send me your location and room number and I'll be there when I can" Riley said "okay bye" I said "bye" I grabbed a duffle bag and packed and outfit tomorrow and looked down at my phone to see if he texted me his location and room number and he did so I grabbed my hygiene stuff and my phone charger along with my phone and keys then got into my car and drove to the location turns out it's thirty minutes away from my hotel when I walked into the building I told the girl at the front desk the room number and she called Riley to ask him if he was expecting anyone which he said "yes a girl"and she said "alright I'll send her up"once she off the phone with riley she said I could go to his room once she gave me an extra key I walked ip the stairs to his room when I knocked on the door Riley opened it and said "hey come in" I said "great more rumors about us" Riley laughed and said "yeah I see all of those fans shipping us together on instagram I said "yeah so are the boys are AEW" Riley laughed and said "how do you feel about that" I said "I don't mind it they are also planning our future together" Riley said "oh god" I said "yeah they think we're gonna get married and have babies" Riley said "we can't predict the future" I said "I know but if we do end up together I feel like you would make me happy" Riley said "oh I know I would I make everyone happy" I laughed and said "I'm getting tired I had a long day today" Riley said "I'm sorry about your friend Brodie again" I said "thank you" Riley said "you can change in the bathroom don't want to watch Netflix?" I said "sure" Riley said "okay I'll find something for us to watch while you get changed"I said "okay" I walked into the bathroom and got changed when I walked out Riley was already in the bed I walked over to the couch and laid down Riley said "what are you doing? come over here lay with me" I said "are you sure? I don't want to invade your privacy" Riley said "no your fine" I walked over to the bed and got under the covers and Riley put on hubbie's Halloween I said "I love this movie" Riley said "yeah it's a good movie" I said "yeah it is" Riley snuggled into me and I smiled while we watched the movie when it was over Riley put on Halloween and I fell asleep when I woke up I looked over at Riley and he was crashed out into my arm I smiled and movies my arm that way I can get comfortable and turned my side over that way I'm facing Riley when he opened his eyes I said "I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you" Riley said "no your fine" I said "alright" I snuggled into the pillow and Riley put his arms around me I said "Riley I want you to know that you make me happy now even though we're not dating" Riley said "good I'm glad" I closed my eyes drifted off to sleep when I woke up Riley was talking to some people I couldn't tell who though because I Carly woke up when I lifted my head I saw Jay and Quinn Riley said "hey beautiful good morning" I smiled and said "hey good morning"Quinn said "hey River" I said "hello" Jay said "when are you guys gonna start dating" I said "I don't know if we'll date but if we do it probably won't be for a while " Jay said "well we're getting married this summer" I said "wait really?" I hugged Quinn at looked at her ring Jay said "yeah it was a whole story" I laughed and Riley said "actually yeah it was he ain't lying" I said "what happened?" Quinn said "you might want to sit down for this one".
