Back on earth the clans were having a meeting.
Scott was at the helm while the others were anxious. Energies were high at the ruin hale house. Peter was growling while the others were just waiting for the meeting to start.
"Derek"
I'm sure you all realize that it's already been a month since stiles was exiled from our home and pack.
Every:
Yeah we remember each person smirked and laughed. We had to he was the weakest member of the group if you could call him that. The only thing strong about him was when he was taken over by the nogitsun.Derek:
After the person had finished speaking he was overwhelmed by the anger he had been repressing. In that moment he felt what stiles must have for so long. Imagining all the pain he must've suffered through and still being able to keep up with their hectic lives, it was no wonder the guy was chosen by the strongest of all beings. In anger Derek hissed at the person before his fist flew. Everything was in slow motion before the other person was caught with his powerful right hook.
"You don't get to talk about stiles in that way you think just because you have the ability to transform into a wolf that makes you better?"
Let me tell you something that fox spirit chose stiles cause he was able to take his pain and make himself worthy of supernatural enemies. Our enemies saw him as an equal to be destroyed and most times than not stiles saved our asses. To Scott he angrily said "and when he needed us "you exiled him from our pack and then our town".
But he didn't leave alone. I just came from his dads house only to find that stiles wasn't even his son only a surrogate son born from a mother and father who had to leave him being and had him implanted inside the woman he called mother.
His parents went off to fight a war and stiles literally had no idea of any of this but his father had been prepared. He told me tonight that the nogitsune is not only not dead but still inside stiles. At this the warriors who had helped them screamed "WHAT"?
After all that we did that demon is still alive?
Are you telling us we left that boy defenseless when we exiled him.Derek shouted back "yes"!
Scott along with the rest of you wanted the exile so badly that when stiles went home he barely had enough time to say goodbye to his father before he was kicked out of the town.He left with only his jeep and a duffle bag containing every known bit of information that his dad had of real his parents.
(As though it were being summoned the ground opened and scenes played before the pack.
Stiles was there along with the demon fox and his shadow warriors.
Stiles wasn't in danger however but looked to be in the middle of deep training. The scenes showed shadowed warriors as though they were training him. In the short time he'd been gone it seemed stiles had grown in both height and in strength. Other beings watched on the sidelines taking everything in. Derek couldn't help but be amazed by what he was seeing as had others.
They must've summoned what ever it was that allowed them to see him again.
(Maybe it had to do with the fact that some had been possessed by the demon fox spirit and that connection was what bonded them)Every one continued to watch stiles but someone in the room gasped and said "look at his eyes".
Every person stopped and looked at his eyes. Sure enough stiles eyes were glowing in both red and orange which meant he was an alpha fox.
The warriors continued to swing at him and although his form was weak (so said the elder woman) he was getting stronger.
As if what they had seen was enough the images faded leaving them.
Derek shouted in sorrow but nothing he nor the people in the room could keep the images from leaving. It took a moment for everyone in the room to understand what just happened.
"So he was an Alpha" said the fox elderly woman.
"Stiles hadn't been attacked but chosen to be the inhabitant of the fox spirit."
"We had it all wrong we thought he was the enemy but instead he was simply chosen to be the host for that thousand year old spirit."
All the knowledge and experience that it possessed will now be transferred to stiles.
I was not worthy and it was why it left me. I bare the mark on my skin as proof.
Stiles was most like a fox spirit, playful yet strong, truthful and yet deceptive.
The elder woman looked down at her hands and began crying.
We were so wrong about everything and stiles simply accepted the idea of willingly taking the spirit inside of him without any hesitation.Everyone in the room grew silent the only sounds being a woman weeping which soon were followed by others.
Derek suddenly became too angry to remain in the room and stormed out however not before he looked at Scott with contempt.
"You should have been the one exiled Scott as an alpha you should have known better". I know that you miss Alison but you've slipped. Stiles kept us all grounded but even you have known that lately something is wrong with our pack. You need to better he said and his eyes beheld a softness that he truly felt.
What's done is down now. All we can do is get stronger and become a better pack.
Everyone in the room fell silent once more as his words sank in.
In a far galaxy away......
Stiles was training hard. He was exhausted but deep down he had never felt more alive. The shadow warriors had not let up and he was getting better. The crew on moya were extremely supportive. His biological father and mother, once the awkwardness had gone away had been welcoming and encouraging. His sleeping quarters had been transformed into his training room.
While his missed his other dad he knew this was his home. Everyday was hard but with his spirit fox elder inside him it was easier.
Remembering how the others had relied on their own beasts stiles hadn't wanted to. The elder spirit knew it too. Stiles hadn't been ashamed of it but he hadn't wanted solely to be reliant upon it. It had been a struggle at first but he had been practicing how to transform into the fox with mixed results but he was getting used to it.
For once he found that being more than just human he felt like he understood what the others back home had felt like. However unlike them he would never let another down. When and if he ever gained a crew he would make sure they were not burdened by problems and would work together.
The moments when moya would pass by actual planets in the current systems they were in was always exciting. Back on earth before he and Scott had become involved in their lives he used to go to the roof and gaze at the stars.
Now that he was amongst the stars everyday was "New" ( and not to mention dangerous but so frelling cool).
In his mind he was still stiles but little by little he grew accustomed to the name his "parents originally called him.
Little by little the life pains that stiles had endured faded.
With his New lease of life stiles would forget the people he once had called friends and family to make new ones.
What would happen to those back on earth he left behind?
Did they even miss him?
(Little did stiles know that since he had left the pack had fallen to disarray. The pack missed him greatly and since he had left dark forces had stopped coming and without something to fight the wolf pack were growing restless. One sour wolf in particular was having a hard time moving on).
Hey guys hope you have enjoyed reading this as much as I have in writing it. This chapter is a bit on the short side only because I would like to move on to stiles New life aboard moya and see how his parents are acclimating to him.
Stay tuned for more of our foxy friends.
