It was now the middle of the school year, and a lot had happened. Most notably Miu slipping down the stairs one morning and suffering a concussion. That freaked half the class out. The other half was Maki, Ryoma, Himiko, and Korekiyo, who never were very reactive to almost anything.

But Miu was okay in the end, albeit slightly loopy. Nothing too different than the Miu everyone knew before her fall, though. Kiibo was never more thankful for anything in his life. He was Miu's best friend, if you will, and he was certainly the most panicked during the whole situation.

Now, it was a normal day for the class. Well, normal wasn't quite the right word to use to describe this bunch, and it never had been. Not when there were kids like Kokichi, Angie, or Miu. Angie was her own brand of special, and that wasn't just an opinion, it was a fact.

The class's teacher was a pretty woman with very short red hair named Mahiru Koizumi. She was also a famous photographer, and she loved to snap memories with her students. It was very sweet of her, and the kids loved it.

Inside their classroom, there were the usual games you'd expect to find in a third grade classroom alongside things like Legos and magents. Well, there actually... were no more magnets, not after Himiko almost choked on one. Nobody was sure how that happened, but it was suspected a certain kniving little boy was involved. (He generally was.)

Ryoma had a small corner in the room where he would build the most emaculate Lego sculptures you have ever seen. At the same time, he was surprisingly mischievous and left pieces scattered on the floor for people to step on. Of course that did happen. A lot. If you maybe squinted you could see Ryoma laughing at everyone's misfortune.

"That's really cool, Ryoma," Kaito said, pointing at the creation in front of him. "What's it supposed to be?"

Ryoma blinked. "Not sure," he admitted. "I just put some pieces together."

Kaito sat down and stared at it more closely. "It looks like... A planet from another solar system! That's so cool! Can I name it?"

"Oh, sure. You know what, it does look like a planet. Go ahead and name it."

Kaito had stars in his eyes. "Okay, okay... Hm... Achilles. I think that's what I'll call it."

"Huh. I like that name."

"A new planet is discovered, and it has been named Achilles!" Kaito declared, holding up the Lego sphere.

Kokichi snuck over and tilted his head. "Ooo, a new discovery! That's very interesting, Kaito."

Kaito turned to him and frowned. "Hey, what are you doing here?"

"Uhm, I'm a student in this class, am I not? Isn't that kind of a stupid question? Are you stupid?"

Ryoma sighed. "Don't start fighting."

Kokichi lifted up his bare foot-- he was such a person as to deliberately disobey any sort of policy, like having to wear shoes-- and showed that he'd stepped on a blue Lego.

"Ryoma, that kind of hurt, were you trying to kill me?" Kokichi said.

"You didn't act like it hurt, so obviously you don't mean that. No, I wouldn't kill anybody, that's ridiculous."

Maki, who stood not too far off, glowered in their direction. "He's a dramatic little rat," she hissed, her voice dripping with venom.

"There will be no fighting in my Lego corner," Ryoma declared. "Now cut it out, guys."

Kokichi rolled his eyes and picked up the Lego planet in his hands. Kaito snapped his head in his direction, his eyes narrowed.

"Kokichi, don't touch that!"

But of course, Kokichi didn't listen. He never listened.

"Scientists discover something new about the planet Achilles! IT'S ABOUT TO CRASH INTO A SPACE WALL! KABOOM!"

He proceeded to throw the creation at the wall and watch it break into pieces. Before anyone could react, he ran away and laughed.

What a real jerk.

✨✨🍭✨✨

Kid Kokichi is a menace as always. Anyway, the Lego thing came to me in the shower, and I loved the idea of Ryoma sitting in a corner playing with Legos. This chapter was shorter than the others, but I didn't have much in mind for it, so what you see is what you get. At least its a silly one to make up for the last two angry chapters :3
