Jin Guangyao and Su She stood at the edge of a vast, desolate land, their eyes wide with a mixture of disbelief and fear. The air was thick with an oppressive sense of dread, and the sky was an ominous shade of gray. Stripped of their cultivation, they were now as vulnerable as any ordinary mortal, a far cry from the powerful cultivators they once were.
"Where are we?" Su She's voice trembled, his usual arrogance replaced by palpable fear.
"I don't know," Jin Guangyao replied, his voice equally unsteady.
"But we need to find shelter and figure out how to survive."
As they took their first cautious steps into the unknown, the ground beneath them seemed to pulse with malevolent energy. Shadows flickered at the edges of their vision, and an eerie silence hung in the air. Suddenly, a blood-curdling screech shattered the silence, and from the darkness emerged hideous monsters, their forms twisted and grotesque.
Panic surged through them as they realized the true nature of their punishment. The monsters lunged at them, claws and fangs gleaming in the dim light. Jin Guangyao and Su She turned and ran, their hearts pounding in their chests.
They sprinted through the unforgiving terrain, stumbling over rocks and debris, their bodies already battered and bruised. The monsters were relentless, their growls and snarls echoing in the desolate landscape. Jin Guangyao tripped and fell, a sharp pain shooting through his ankle as he hit the ground.
"Get up!" Su She yelled, fear and desperation in his voice.
Jin Guangyao scrambled to his feet, the pain in his ankle making every step agony. They continued to run, but the monsters were gaining on them. Just when it seemed they would be overtaken, a blinding light enveloped the monsters, forcing them to retreat with pained howls.
Panting and exhausted, Jin Guangyao and Su She collapsed against a rock.
"What... what was that?" Jin Guangyao gasped.
Su She's eyes widened as he saw a figure approaching, a serene yet commanding presence. It was none other than Boashen Sanren, the High Goddess Immortal Queen.
"You thought your punishment would be easy?" she said, her voice cold and unyielding.
"You have much to learn. This land is a reflection of your sins, a place where you will face the consequences of your actions for eternity."
"But... we can't die," Su She stammered.
Boashen Sanren's gaze was icy.
"No, you cannot. That is part of your curse. You will endure endless pain and suffering, unable to escape the consequences of your deeds."
With a wave of her hand, she disappeared, leaving them alone once more. The monsters began to emerge again from the shadows, and the cycle of torment resumed. For Jin Guangyao and Su She, this was their new reality—a never-ending nightmare where they would be hunted and tormented for all eternity.
