Hi everyone,
Sorry it took me 3days to update this story. Quiet frankly it's so hard to make even a chapter 😆 especially when you have personal issue to deal with, nevertheless I'm enjoying writing Wangxian fanfictions. And I'm happy reading the comments, just not the nasty comments as its always turning me off with writing and ending up losing motivation to update. I'm talking alot am I? Hehe sorry anyways, I hope you guys are enjoying this story. Take care everyone!

The weeks following the announcement of Wei Ying's pregnancy were filled with a whirlwind of emotions and preparations. As the news spread throughout the Yuandao Sanren Sect and beyond, well-wishers continued to arrive with gifts and advice, eager to support the couple in any way possible.

Lan Zhan was by Wei Ying's side through it all, his presence a constant source of calm and reassurance. As Wei Ying's pregnancy progressed, he began to experience the typical symptoms and cravings that came with expecting a child.

One morning, Wei Ying woke up with a particularly strong craving for spicy dumplings. He turned to Lan Zhan, who was already awake and reading a book on prenatal care.

"Lan Zhan, I really want spicy dumplings. Like, really spicy."

Lan Zhan closed his book and smiled.

"Spicy dumplings? I'll go to the kitchen and make some for you."

Wei Ying's eyes lit up.

"Really? You'd do that for me?"

"Of course, Wei Ying," Lan Zhan said, gently kissing his husband's forehead.

"Anything for you."

Lan Zhan had never been particularly skilled in the kitchen, but he was determined to fulfill Wei Ying's craving. He carefully prepared the ingredients, adding just the right amount of spice to satisfy Wei Ying's desires. As the aroma of cooking dumplings filled the air, Wei Ying couldn't help but smile, his heart swelling with love for his devoted husband.

When Lan Zhan brought the steaming plate of dumplings to their room, Wei Ying's eyes sparkled with delight.

"Lan Zhan, these look amazing! Thank you."

Lan Zhan watched with satisfaction as Wei Ying devoured the dumplings, his craving momentarily sated.

"How are they?"

"They're perfect," Wei Ying said, his mouth full.

"You're the best, Lan Zhan."

As the days went by, Wei Ying's cravings became more frequent and varied. There were days when he craved sweet pastries, and Lan Zhan would seek out the best bakeries in the area to satisfy his husband's sweet tooth. Other times, Wei Ying would crave exotic fruits, and Lan Zhan would have them specially delivered from faraway lands.

But cravings weren't the only challenge. Wei Ying's mood swings also became more pronounced, fluctuating between joy, frustration, and tears. One afternoon, while they were in their garden, Wei Ying suddenly burst into tears.

Lan Zhan rushed to his side, alarmed.

"Wei Ying, what's wrong? Are you in pain?"

Through his tears, Wei Ying shook his head.

"No, Lan Zhan. I don't even know why I'm crying. I just feel so emotional all the time."

Lan Zhan wrapped his arms around Wei Ying, holding him close.

"It's alright, Wei Ying. It's normal to feel this way. Your body is going through so many changes."

Wei Ying sniffled, leaning into Lan Zhan's embrace.

"I feel like I'm going crazy sometimes."

"You're not crazy," Lan Zhan reassured him.

"You're going to be an amazing parent, and we're in this together."

Wei Ying looked up at Lan Zhan, his eyes filled with gratitude.

"I don't know what I would do without you, Lan Zhan."

Lan Zhan kissed Wei Ying's forehead.

"And you never have to find out. I'm here for you, always."

One evening, as they sat by the fireplace, Wei Ying felt another craving hit him. This time, it was for a specific type of sweet soup he remembered from his childhood.

"Lan Zhan, do you think you could make that sweet lotus seed soup my mother used to make?"

Lan Zhan smiled, nodding.

"Of course, Wei Ying. I'll need to get the ingredients, but I can make it for you."

The preparation took time, but Lan Zhan was meticulous, wanting to get it just right. When he finally presented the bowl of sweet lotus seed soup to Wei Ying, his husband's face lit up with recognition and nostalgia.

Wei Ying took a spoonful, savoring the familiar taste.

"Lan Zhan, this is exactly how I remember it. Thank you so much."

Lan Zhan sat beside him, pleased to see Wei Ying so happy.

"I'm glad you like it."

As the weeks turned into months, Lan Zhan continued to support Wei Ying through every craving and mood swing. He attended to Wei Ying's needs with unwavering patience and love, always finding ways to make him comfortable and content.

One particularly challenging day, Wei Ying was feeling overwhelmed by a mix of emotions. He lashed out in frustration, his mood swings getting the better of him.

"Lan Zhan, I don't know what's wrong with me! I feel so out of control."

Lan Zhan remained calm, his voice gentle.

"It's alright, Wei Ying. You're carrying our child. Your body is under a lot of stress. Let's take a walk in the garden and get some fresh air."

Wei Ying reluctantly agreed, and as they walked among the blooming flowers, he began to relax. The tranquility of the garden, combined with Lan Zhan's soothing presence, helped to ease his troubled mind.

"I'm sorry, Lan Zhan," Wei Ying said softly.

"I didn't mean to snap at you."

Lan Zhan shook his head.

"There's nothing to apologize for, Wei Ying. I understand, and I'm here to support you."

Wei Ying took a deep breath, feeling a sense of peace wash over him.

"Thank you for being so patient with me, Lan Zhan. I love you."

"I love you too, Wei Ying," Lan Zhan replied, pulling him into a gentle embrace.

As the months progressed, the love and understanding between Wei Ying and Lan Zhan only grew stronger. They faced each challenge together, their bond unbreakable. The anticipation of their child's arrival filled their hearts with joy and excitement.

One evening, as they sat together, Wei Ying felt a gentle kick from their baby. He placed Lan Zhan's hand on his belly, allowing him to feel the movement.

"Lan Zhan, our baby is moving."

Lan Zhan's eyes widened with wonder as he felt the tiny kick.

"It's incredible, Wei Ying."

In that moment, surrounded by the love and support of their family and friends, Wei Ying and Lan Zhan knew that they were ready to face whatever the future held. Together, they had overcome countless obstacles, and together, they would welcome their child into a world filled with love, hope, and endless possibilities.
