Today was the day the day CJ goes back to the OBX for the summer. She's been visiting her dad there since she was 11 years old but last year she didn't go there was never a reason why she just never went.
"You almost ready ceej." Christi says to CJ as she is on the floor packing up her things to go
"Ready as I'll ever be." CJ says looking up at her mother from the floor.
"Damn CJ your phone has been blowing up like crazy who has been texting you?" Christi says to CJ "oh it's probably Sarah the pouges Clara and wheezie I haven't told them when I'm coming down I figured to make it a surprise." CJ says with laughter in her voice while she gets up to look at all the text messages from everyone asking when she will arrive back home.
"CJ you ready to go to the airport yet?" Christi says to CJ.
"Ready as I'll ever be." CJ says with a smile on her face.
Christi and CJ go outside to the car to put all of CJ's bags in the trunk
"CJ I just have something to tell you before we drive to the airport." Christi says in a worried voice
"Mom I know don't do anything stupid with jj and make sure Clara is safe." CJ says knowing what her mother was going to say without her Ben saying it.
"That's my girl!" Christi says being proud.
They get in the car and head to the airport.
