i'm watching the team with deadpan eyes ignoring the stinging pain in my ankle. it's not that bad but the doctor says that i just have to rest it for days. maybe a week.
they panicked because of coach getting arrested because they told us that he's a spy and hacked the government system.
‘i don't know if i should be amazed or disappointed.’
i shake my head as tsukushi help me walk along with anna, and i apologize at them for the trouble.
“he said that the team will face a new trial but it fell upon him...” tsukushi giggles and i sigh.
“well it fell upon the team too and me.” i said pointing at my feet and they laugh. we sat at the bench with our trainer.
the match started and my band rings.
“use-enough-force-to-knock-down-the-flying-bird strategy. yay.” i read and wonders how the hell can he give commands.
all of them advance to the opponents field and the girls beside me makes some reaction.
kozoumaru tries to shoot but failed, and the opponents use the opportunity to take advantage of our field being empty. the ball fly and hiyori take it as a chance.
“shooting cut!”
the ball went to asuto and he kick the ball to make a shoot then we earn a point.
“yay!” tsukushi stand up and throw her fist up making us sweatdrop.
in the second kick off we are at disadvantage because coach is not giving any order, probably his device got confiscated. but still norika stop the shoot and i yelled standing up.
“go girl-ah!” i sat down immediately after feeling the pain in my ankle and i pout.
‘boo, i hope it gets better tomorrow.’
in the end we won and the opponents leave us a warning of teikoku. i shrugged and look at my feet. damn, i'll just think that the man who accidentally step on my feet is not from anyone.
“y/n-chan? are you okay? your face shows that you're displeased by something.” tsukushi ask and i just tilt my head gesturing my feet.
