I walked to the park to see Amy and Gwen on the swings and Jules running down the street to us.

"Hey guys" Jules said breathless

"I brought my baseball bat, well, it's actually Bruce's but we could hit stuff" Amy said pulling out a metal baseball bat

We walked over to an area where we knew there was a lot of glass, wood pieces ,and plastic cups.

"3..2..1..BATTER UP!"

1hour later

Me and Amy hung upside down on the monkey bars while jules spun as fast as possible on that mushroom shaped thing and Gwen sat on the platform next to us flirting wit Amy in

'a friend way'

Me and Jules knew it wasn't.

I'm fine with it though, Vance is gay too.

"Guys I have to get home" Jules said looking at her phone

"I probably do too." Amy said getting off the monkey bars

"I'll walk Jess home since it's getting dark out ,our houses are in the same direction anyway." Gwen said getting down

I didn't worry about Amy and Jules they have their own pocket knifes and Amy brought her baseball bat I'll get a pocket knife eventually.

We said goodbye and me and Gwen walked to my house.

"Bye Gwen, goodnight"

I walked in and saw my mom and stepmom on the couch watching TV while Vance and Griffin played uno on the floor.

"Hi guys, I'm gonna head to bed." I yawned after my statement.

"Good night" they didn't question me I normally went to bed at 9pm cause of dad

I walked upstairs and laid down in my bed, I shut my eyes letting my mind slip into unconsciousness

I shut the door to my house and took off my jacket.

Dad isn't home

" ok, i made mac and cheese, it's on the stove"

I looked down at my phone.
