"Hey Dad, Tals. I got here as fast as I could. What's going on?" Claire says as she rushes into the Brady Pub and runs to the table where her dad and his girlfriend are sitting.
"Hey, sweetheart," Shawn says, standing up and hugging his daughter.
"So, what is it you have to tell me, Dad?"
"Claire, we're just going to wait for our sisters to get here, then we'll tell you all at once," Talia says, and Claire's eyes perk up curiously.
"Well, now you've got me officially intrigued," Claire says as Ciara and Jada walk in.
"Hey, bro. Sorry I'm late. I had to put Bo down for a nap before coming down here," Ciara tells Shawn as she and Jada sit down, joining Claire, Talia, and Shawn.
"It's okay, sis. This was all pretty last minute," Shawn responds.
"Yeah, it was, but I'm also sorry for being late. I was wrapping up the Lucas Horton case," Jada explains.
"It's alright sis."
"So, Lucas's case is now closed, and he's out of jail?" Shawn inquires about his ex-brother-in-law, though he still cares for Lucas like one.
"Yes, it is. New evidence has come to light showing he didn't kidnap Sami."
"Wait? What? Who kidnapped Aunt Sami?" Claire asks.
"I'll fill you guys in later. Shawn and Talia, you wanted to tell us something. What was it?" Jada questions.
"We have some news," Shawn begins to say, and that's when Talia flashes her hand with the big diamond ring on it.
"We're getting married," Talia reveals.
"Oh my gosh, guys, congrats!" Claire says, hugging her dad and then moving on to hug Talia.
"Yeah, congrats, bro. Now you have to tell Mom and Dad," Ciara says as she and Shawn exchange a hug.
"Thanks, sis, and I will in time. They don't even know that Belle and I are not together anymore," Shawn replies.
"Congrats Talia."
"Thank you, Jada. I know you were not the most supportive when Shawn and I got together, but we do appreciate your support now," Talia tells her as they hug.
"Talia's right, we do. And I just have to say that I can't wait to marry you, Talia, and I can't wait for you all to be there," Shawn tells his fiancée, his daughter, and both of their sisters.
"And I cannot wait to marry you either, Shawn," Talia replies before kissing him passionately.
