Shinsou realized Izuku's sudden change of demeanor. He gently grasped Izuku's shoulder, causing the boy to jump under him. "Woah Zuku, what's up?" The purple-haired boy looked to see where Izuku was looking, and only saw a brunette boy. Shinsou shrugged and said, "What you know him or something?" Shakily, Izuku turned around, "Can we leave?" The small boy quavered on his words as if he was unsure if he should be saying them or not.
Just as the boys were turning to exit the store, Izuku felt someone viciously tap on his shoulder. His heart sank to the pits of his stomach. He felt the wretched boy's bony finger tap his shoulder over and over again. He tried to ignore it until he, putting on a kind face, turned around to face Kosei. Shinsou didn't realize Izuku had stopped, so he just kept walking. Leaving the boy there. With Kosei. Alone.
"Oh, hey there Izuku. Didn't think I'd run into you again." The brunette boy said with an evil grimace. Behind his beady eyes only showed malice and evil. The green-haired boy awkwardly laughs before saying, "Yeah.." Izuku searched every corner of the store, looking for his friends, a way to escape, anything. Yet, he found nothing. The taller boy wrapped a slender, veiny, arm around Izuku, pulling him close. He held a deathly grip around him. "I've. Missed. You." Kosei said through gritted teeth, his jaw clenching tightly as he stared Izuku in the eye. Izuku just nodded in response.
Kosei was Izuku's ex boyfriend. He had met him during middle school, at the time Izuku was being bullied by Katsuki. At first, Kosei was helpful, loving, and caring towards Izuku, but as time went on he started to become possessive and controlling. He had to know where Izuku was at all times, and he regularly went through Izuku's phone. As Izuku got older he started to feel more and more trapped by Kosei, almost like he was stuck in a prison. A prison of his life. Cause of Kosei, Izuku wasn't able to create bonds with anyone. When Izuku finally had enough of it, he transferred high schools to get away from him, but he ended up being with Bakugo instead. Though, Katsuki was much better than Kosei.
"You just.. just left without a word Izuku! Do you realize how much that affected me?" Kosei question Izuku, his eyes focusing intently on Izuku's face. They looked like they were about to pop out of the socket. Kosei's arm tightened around Izuku even more. "I'm... sorry.." Izuku whispered softly, looking down at the floor. Just as Izuku said that, Kosei let go of him completely, making Izuku lose his balance and almost fall on the hard, white marble flooring. "Haha, you okay man? Let's exchange numbers so we can catch up!" Kosei said, a sudden cheerful tone in his voice. He always did that. Crazy one second, cheerful the next. Izuku stared at him, scared. He did not want to give Kosei his number. He could find out so much with just that. Sweat began to roll down his forehead, his hair now moist, clinging to his scalp. His clothes suddenly felt insanely tight, no matter their baggy style. He felt as though he was suffocating. Suffocating and never being able to escape. His breathing started getting heavy. He violently shook his head 'no'. But, of course, this didn't stop Kosei. "Oh, I see you're struggling, here I'll help." The brunette said as he reached into Izuku's jean pocket and pulled out Izuku's phone. "Hm let me think.." Kosei mumbled, tapping the side of his forehead as he stared at Izuku's locked phone. "Oh that's right." He cheerfully muttered as he put in the correct passcode. Scrolling through Izuku's apps, he clicked on the message one and swiftly put in his contact info before texting himself through Izuku's phone. Izuku stood there. Watching in horror. The suffocating feeling overtaking him. Kosei waved with a smile before saying, "Bye, bye now!" He then, turned on his heel and walked away from the Forever21.
Shinsou finally found Izuku, trembling on a bench right outside the large mall. He was staring numbly at the floor. "Hey, Zuzu, what's up?" The purple haired boy asked before taking a seat next to his friend. When Izuku didn't answer he decided to tap on his shoulder, ultimately pulling the boy from his trance. Izuku felt a shiver go up his spine as the events that just happened replayed in his mind over and over again. It seemed to be a never ending cycle. Shinsou gave him a worried smile before saying, "C'mon, lets get you home." With that, Shinsou stood up and offered Izuku a hand to help him stand. They quietly walked to Shinsou's car. The others had seemed to have left already so it was just the two of them.
Izuku got in the passenger seat next to Shinsou, he rested his head on his hand as he stared out the window. Pondering what his life would become because of this situation. For once, Shinsou didn't blast music, they just drove to Izuku's house silently. The green haired boy refused to look at anything other than the window, it's as if his eyes were super glued to it. He continued to replay him and Kosei's interaction on repeat. It was so vivid. So suffocating. What was going to happen to him? Would Kosei come back into his life? "Zuz-" He should block him right? Definitely. How did he expect never to see the boy again when they still did live in the same ci- "Izuku!!" Shinsou blurted out. Izuku looked over at his friend, confused. "Huh?" he questioned to him. "We've been sitting at your place for the last like three minutes now." Shinsou explained as he stared at him with distress written all over his face. Izuku let out a mumble of acknowledgement before he got out of the car, walking to his apartment. Shinsou stayed there, parked in front of Izuku's apartment until he made sure his friend made it inside. "What the fuck.." He mumbled to himself quietly before he turned on his Deftones and drove away.
Izuku stared at his ceiling, his phone laying next to him. He watched as the paint strokes in the ceiling were moving in on each other, warping. He wiped his eyes with the back of his hands, then continued looking up at the ceiling, his visions now being true.
Just as he was about to fall asleep, he felt his phone vibrate from next to him. His breath hitched as he felt it vibrate. He inched his head slowly turning to look at his phone. Everything in him told him it was Kosei. 'Don't look at it! Don't look at it! You'll regret it!' He screamed at himself in his head. He was way too curious not to check. Ultimately, he closed his eyes and quickly snatched his phone from beside him. Holding it above his eyes, he hit the power on button. Relief filled his body. He was finally able to breathe again when he realize it was just Kacchan who texted him. 'Oh it's jut Ka- WAIT- WHAT? The text is from Kacchan?' Izuku thought to himself, all of his paranoia suddenly disappearing when he thought of the blonde. His unlocked his phone, putting a mental note in his brain to switch his password, and went to his messages app.
Kacchan: when are we working on that shitty project?
Izuku for some reason smiled at this text. He thought Katsuki didn't care for the project one bit, but here he was, texting first!
Can you tonight? :Deku
Kacchan: K, ill come to yours
With a giddy smile on his face, Izuku closed his phone. 'Kacchan is coming over for the first time in forever!' He thought to himself. His stomach started to ache a bit, from how excited he was! He quickly jumped off his bed and made it to his full body mirror, checking himself out once more. Even after all that went down, he still looked pretty decent. He smirked at himself before gripping his bedroom door handle and stepping out of his room.
Izuku practically leapt from the couch when he heard knocking on his door. "Coming!" He shouted just as he opened the door. Katsuki just rolled his eyes. "Come on in!" Izuku said as he stood to the side, making room for the blonde to come in.
