The Winx have found the origins of the White Circle and of a fairy named Morgana. For the wizards it's a race to stop the Fairies before it's too late for them. But tensions rise as Musa's dreams start falling apart, and she's not sure what to do anymore or who to trust.

Episode 2: The Fairy Pet Trap

It's another busy day at Love & Pets. The jingle plays on their speakers as the Winx attend to their regular jobs. Bloom is at the cashier register, Stella grooms a cute squirrel, Flora does a medical check on a few pets with Roxy's assistance, Tecna prepares an advertisement page for their pet food and Aisha helps the pets with exercise. Musa's station isn't active and her pet bear, Pepe, is nowhere to be seen.

"Miss why can't I pay for your dancing classes for my fairy pet?", a teenager asks Bloom. "Sorry, our worker is taking a day off, but we can book you guys for next week!" Bloom says. The teen leaves the counter and Bloom sighs, wondering what the musician is up to.

Meanwhile Musa is at the loft, lying down on the couch while Pepe rests on her back. She has an item, a sort of box like a seashell which contains a holographic image of her mother. She remembers when she asks Tecna to make it so she could always have her around.
"Mom, I'm not sure what to do now.", Musa starts. "The girls want to form a band and Bloom signed that contract with Jason Queen...I'll find a way to get our dream back from them...especially Bloom..." Pepe squeezes his way between her shoulder and neck and nuzzles his master. "Heh, at least I have you Pepe.", she starts. "Sorry I can't pretend to be happy for you. How about you go hang out with some fairy pets huh?"
Pepe is sad to leave his owner in melancholy but does so anyway; he could sense she still needed some space. On his way he almost bumps into Bloom who went upstairs to "check on" Musa.

"Musa, are you alright?" Bloom asks.
"It's about me skipping work isn't it?" Musa sighs.
"Yeah. Can't you get ready already and help us down there?"
"Bloom I told you before that I'm taking a day off today, I'm not feeling well."
"But you're not sick?"
"No, not that way. If you're not going to help just leave me alone."
"Musa I'm not taking your sass. Come and help us with the shop so we can bring magic back."
"...(sigh) I'll come tomorrow, does that work for you?"
"Fine. I'll have Aisha cover your station in the meantime."

And with that Bloom leaves again.

That trail of dark magic yesterday grew fainter but it was still present. Gantlos opens his eyes after finishing his tracking spell on the Love and Pets shop; despite being in broad daylight around the right side of the shop, no one saw him. . "So it's her then..." he mutters to himself.
"What are you talking about big G?"
Gantlos looks over at Anagan who dug his hands into his pocket, waiting for an answer as he swayed side to side.
"The trail from yesterday, it's from that music fairy!"
"Have you lost your mind? She uses light magic!" Anagan argues.
"Anagan. I'm a tracker. I know how to track dark magic....though in this case..." He takes a moment to think about it but gets cut off by a familiar voice. "Hey! I've seen you guys before!"

It was Mitzi, standing there, hand on her hip and with what looks like a fusion of a handbag and a pet carrier hanging from her shoulder. "Yeah, you guys definitely look familiar..." she says as she fidgets with her glasses. "Have we met before?"
"I guess she doesn't remember?" Anagan says to Gantlos, who shrugs and starts to explain. "Mitzi, right? A few days ago we gave you powers to turn into a dark fairy and disrupt Gardenia to make them fear fairies. But Ogron's plan backfired."
"...OOOOHHH yeah! Ugh, typical Bloom always getting what she wants.", she groans, rolling her eyes. "Having those powers was fun, think you can hook me on those again?"
"No. Besides, Gantlos found something odd." Anagan replies.
