Episode 3: The Dark Angel
* * *

In a forest path, four knights were sent on a scouting mission to find some wild magic sources. Wild magic is dangerous and is best dealt with by purifying it into light magic. They were being led by their tracker, a bulky knight with an iron helmet. He picks up something weird however.  "Uhm, comrades, we need to be careful."
"Is something wrong, Gantlos?", the redhead knight asks him.
"Dark magic, sir. Those fairies said they took care of it years ago, but it still lingers."
"Woah, really?", a smaller, younger pink haired knight chimes. "Ogron, what's dark magic?"
"I am not so sure myself, but we should see what it has in store. Gantlos, where's the source?" Ogron asks. Gantlos moves some willow tree vines aside and walks forward to another area. He starts digging as the other wizards come over to see what he found. Gantlos pulls from the ground up a dark hoop, similar to the white one the Earth Fairies had. It glows purple which freaks him out. Ogron picks up the circle and examines it.

"Hah...I can hear something!", he announces.
"Really?" Anagan asks, tugging his armor in worry. "What does it have to say?"
"The Circle holds an incredible amount of power. Magic. Like those fairies restricted from us and other humans. It can give it to us and we can finally wield magic! But we have to pledge ourselves to it."
The others look at each other before agreeing and Ogron tells the Circle as such. The Circle starts to emit flashes of purple and black lights and summons lilac chains which clutch around their necks and drag them on the floor. "What the-" Ogron stops midway through his sentence as he receives another message. "D-Dammit! We've been tricked! And we can't go back, else we won't make it alive..."
Ogron looks up at the floating Black Circle, it was like it was grinning at him, in pride and sadistic enjoyment at their fear. He could almost hear it maniacally laughing as the knights have been reduced to mere pawns...

Musa shoots up in a cold sweat and panting. That was a weird dream, and while usually dreams don't make sense, this one was even more strange, like she knew what happened to those knights vaguely. She even saw the one from the vague vision Gantlos gave her.. She shakes her head, feeling another migraine coming. At least her fever was over. Musa looks over at the door creaking open as Flora walks in. "Hey, you're finally awake, Musa.", she starts. "How was your sleep?"
"Weird." Musa admits. "There were four guys who tracked the Black Circle and, uh, I forgot. It must be from Gantlos' spell."
"What makes you say that?" Flora goes to sit on her bed as Musa sits up.
"There was that knight with the helmet I saw again. He vaguely appeared before I fainted. I think...I think those were the wizards before the Great Fairy Hunt! But I don't know what it means."
"Hmm..." This did sound confusing. Flora scratches the back of her head before snapping her fingers after finding a solution. "Maybe you just need something to chew on other than that thought."

"Bloom, can you pass me another croissant?"
"Stella, this is the third one you've eaten, at least leave some for Musa."

The girls were all hanging out at the loft as usual, scarfing down a scrumptious breakfast while chatting about mundane activities. Musa and Flora come out of her room, Musa with her song book, looking more tired and moody compared to the rest of the Winx.
"Morning sleepyhead.", Aisha says. "I have some good news! Nabu and I managed to find a venue for our wedding, Klaus agreed to let us host it at the music bar, which is perfect since it's near a beach, and the people of Andros won't have a hard time."
Musa ignores her and goes to sit down and write in her notebook. "Musa? Did you listen to anything?"
"I'm the fairy of music, of course I listened. I'm just not interested in your perfect love life."
"...oh yeah. With how you and Riven..."
"Finally someone acknowledges it." Musa rolls her eyes. Aisha wasn't sure but she swore she could see a purple flick in her eyes. The same magic as that of the wizards.
"You should eat before starting any daily activities. How about a croissant?" Tecna asks the music fairy.
"Thanks Tecna." And with that she gets some carbs in her stomach while jotting down some ideas for a new song. There's some interesting concept with spells and confused feelings but most of her scribbles were of Gantlos, something about them having things in common, that spell, those knights, that dream she had. She even drew a very amateur and scratchy doodle of him just to scribble all over it. It was frustrating, her mind was totally clouded with what he did yesterday. "(Argh! I can't think of anything!...hmm...what was that thing Jason said a while back, writing songs with what your heart tells you...)" she looks at her scribbled drawing in pen as she taps her pen on her lip. "(Well I do want to vent about my confusion. And I need an answer from him.)"
"Yoink!" Stella chimes as she snatches Musa's song book.
"HEY!" Musa shouts as she gets up to chase Stella.
"Sorry but I feel you have some juicy stuff written down!" Stella giggles as she starts reading the pages in glee. Her curiosity is killed as much as her joy when she sees the countless mentions of things from yesterday; she was more concerned about the spell now. "Uh Bloom, take a look at this." Stella says, tossing the book to her friend who skims over the pages. "Oh, that doesn't look good..."
"What's wrong?" Flora asks as she and the other Winx come to take a look at the book; it was intriguing that Stella stayed quiet instead of blabbering about its contents like usual, so they needed to know. Musa was not amused by any of this. "So now my songs interest you?", she snarls.
