Dev: "YN, this is crazy! Our parents have been planning this meeting for days haven't they?"
YN: "days?! Try weekss! I can't believe they kept this from us."
Dev: "I know, right? I feel like we're in some kind of Bollywood movie."
YN: "Ha! With our parents as the director
Dev: "Ugh, don't even get me started. So, what do we do now?"
YN: "Well, we can either go along with their plans or take matters into our own hands."
Dev: "Hmm, decisions, decisions. What do you say we do?"
YN: "I mean ,i don't see anything wrong in you,its our culture which is bothering me,aur mai apne parents ko disappoint nahi karna chahti, aur na itni jaldi shaadi" she sighed sadly sitting on his bed
He too kneeled down before her he had no idea how to comfort her
YN: "If I was old enough,i would have considered marrying you,i mean tum bure nahi ho husband material ho tum,but i need time" (sigh)
Dev's face softened as he looked at YN, her words touching his heart. He understood her concerns, her fears, and her need for time.
"YN, I get it," he said gently, his voice filled with empathy. "I feel the same way. Our parents mean well, but they don't understand us. We're not ready for this."
He paused, taking a deep breath.
"But, I want you to know that I'm willing to wait for you. If you need time, I'll give it to you. We can take things slow, get to know each other better, and see where this journey takes us."
Dev's words were like a balm to YN's soul. She looked up at him, her eyes searching for sincerity, and found it in his gaze.
"Really?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Dev nodded, his smile reassuring. "Really. We'll face this together, okay?"
YN's face relaxed, a small smile playing on her lips. "Okay."
In that moment, they shared a connection that went beyond their arranged marriage.
Dev:"Ek kaam karte hai, mujhe tumme koi burai nahi dikkhi ,ha mere ideal jaise nahi ho lekin fir bhi perfect ho". He said with a small smile"issiliye haan karte hai,I know ye thoda reckless move hai, mano koi film ki kahani ho,(chuckles)lekin ek doosre ka saath de hi sakte hai aage jo hoga vo dekha jayega milker samna karte hai, hmm?"
YN:"Pata hai ye aage jo hoga dekha jayega bolker kabhi dekha nahi jaata(chuckles) lekin agar tum mere saath do tho.."(smiles)
Dev's eyes sparkled with warmth as he looked at YN. "So, what do you say? Are you ready to take this leap of faith with me?"
YN's heart skipped a beat. She could see the sincerity in Dev's eyes, and her own fears and doubts began to fade away.
"Yes, I'm ready," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
Dev's face lit up with a radiant smile. "Really?"
YN nodded, her smile growing wider. "Really."
Dev's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled, and he pulled YN into a gentle hug. "I'm so glad we're doing this, YN. I promise to always support and cherish you, no matter what."
YN felt a sense of peace washing over her as she hugged Dev back. "I promise the same to you, Dev. Let's face whatever comes next together."
As Dev and YN hugged, they both felt a sense of relief and happiness washed over them. They knew that they still had a lot to learn about each other, but they were excited to start this new chapter in their lives together.
