"N-no. You can't make me do it." I mutter to Tristan. "Yes. You are. He's coming here to this school and you will make sure he's disposed of." Tristian shouts and slams me against the wall again. He has me by the neck and scraps my back against the rough brick wall. My head hurts so bad. My whole body is battered and beaten. He has been at this for what feels like forever.
Can't take any more of this. "F-f-fine." I say in my weakened voice so it comes out like a whisper. Tristan gives me a sweet smile and coos, "Good, doll. You usually don't withstand this much damage, but it's good that you're working on your strength." He lets go of me and I topple to the ground in a bloody, crumpled heap. My chest feels like it's about to explode.
He snickers and starts to walk away. "One month." Tristan tells me and flies into the sky, leaving me.
I cough loudly and shiver. Pulling my hand away from my mouth, I see blood spattered on my hand. He probably broke a few ribs, hopefully nothing else. Taking an Ace bandage from my back pocket, I pull my shirt up and touch my bruised area. Wincing, I carefully and gently wrap my torso in the bandage.
I'm currently behind Stoker High School and I probably need to explain what just happened. My relationship with Tristan is...complicated. He calls me 'work employee' or 'little errand girl'.
I can't get away from him. Tristan is too powerful. One thing I've learning from 'working' with him is, never refuse a job. Or there will be consequences. I accept most jobs, good or bad.
This job might be the hardest. Kill the Hunter.
