Nialls POV

Brianna and Steph walked away. I saw a shady figure approaching.

I walked up and punched him straight in the face wasting no time. "woah" he replied stumbling backwards.

" who the fuck abuses a girl" I snarled.

The lad pushed me hard against the wall.

" What do you know" he growled.

" Enough" i said pushing him back.

I felt a fist go into my gut. Pain and anger rushed through me.

" Leave her alone " I growled.

I was still confused on how anyone could hit a girl.

" why don't you fuck her " the guy snarled.

I punched his face again, leaving him out cold on the ground. I left to find Brianna and Steph.

" He is out cold" I said

" Do you have anywhere to stay? " Brianna asked.

" Only his flat" Steph mumbled.

I looked at her scars. She had burns on her too. It pained me to see her like this.

"How far is the flat" I asked

" 10 minute walk" Steph replied.

" We could get your stuff. You can't live there" Brianna said firmly.

" I have know where else" Steph cried.

I had an idea so I pulled out my phone.

"Ed" I spoke calmly.

" Niall " Ed replied.

" I'm with a pretty girl who needs a place to stay" I said.

" I'll take her in for a bit" Ed said happily.

"Cheers. Be there in half an hour" I said before hanging up.

" Lets get your stuff" I said to Steph as we walked to her flat.

The whole walk I noticed the looks Brianna was giving me. A mix of love and proudness. I pulled her in as we walked.

" This one" Steph said fumbling with the key.

She let us in and quickly began packing her stuff.

"I should have done this earlier but I'm not from here. I don't know anyone" Steph gushed.

That was when I noticed her American accent.

" American right? " I asked.

" New Jersey" she said.

Brianna walked in. " We need to hurry" she said pacing nervously not wanting Stephs boyfriend to return.

"All ready" Steph said holding two suitcases. I grabbed one and we left the flat.

"How much further" Bri said.

We had been walking in the dark for an hour. Brianna and Steph both in bare feet because walking in heels was harder.

" Not long now" I whispered.

We finally arrived at Eds and walked straight in. "Eddy bear" I called.

Ed emerged from the kitchen eyeing Steph. " Hello love I'm Ed" Eds raspy voice said.

" I'm Steph"
