Dates under the stars

Briannas POV

I felt Niall's hands working on my blindfold. " Ni youe fingers are cold" I giggled. I felt the blind fold fall away and I opened my eyes.

"Niall " I breathed. I looked around at the picnic blanket covered in pillows and food set out under a tree covered in fairy lights.

" Do you like it Bri?" Niall asked. How could I not love it.

" Ni its perfect" I gushed. It was amazing I don't know how to describe it. Everything was just perfect.

Niall led me over to the pillows and we sat down.

Niall started pulling out the food; strawberries dipped in chocolate, mini quiches, chocolate moose and chicken squewers. All my favourite food.

"Thank you" I said happily. Niall kissed me softly.

" Thank you for being my amazing girlfriend. The one I trust with my life. The one who changed me for the better. " Niall said.

I grabbed Ni and pulled him into me, kissing him deeply. We pulled away at the same time, absolutely breathless.

" Lets start with the quiches and chicken" Niall said. I lay back in the pillows, eating while looking at the starts. " Ni what inspired you to do this?" I questioned.

" I just thought it was incredibly romantic. It's my dream date." Niall said pulling me onto his lap.

" Its incredible" I replied.

Niall and I fed each other strawberries and ate our chocolate moose.

" Thanks baby" I said kissing his cheek.

I watched Niall fumble in his back pocket. Eventually he pulled out a little blue box. My cheeks blushed hard. My mind was whirling.

Niall's POV

I had managed to get the box out of my pocket. I watched Briannas face turn pink. My insides were also going crazy.

"Brianna baby you're my world. " I started.

"Niall. .." she stuttered but I cut her off.

"Without you I don't know how I would live. You're perfection in every single way and I would do anything to keep you safe. I love you Brianna " I said, holding her close.

"I know we are to young to get married or even engaged so this is a promise ring. My promise to love you and stand by you forever" I said opening the box and revealing the ring Liam and Harry helped me choose.

I slipped it on her finger and watched the tears form in Briannas eyes. "I love you Niall James Horan" Brianna said as she kissed me.

We were lying under the stars, Brianna laying on my chest. I watched the light part of the sky mix with the dark to create a beautiful mix of colours.

The sky reminded me of Brianna. She was the light and I was the dark. We had both changed each other for the better. She was mine and forever will be.

Light and dark came together right now and hopefully forever.
