The Waited Day

None POV:

It had been a month since Marinette discovered she was pregnant, and today was her wedding day.

Adrien had divorced Kagami the day after they announced their little baby to the family, and now, Adrien and Marinette were finally getting married.

Marinette had insisted on rushing the wedding; she couldn't wait to be Mrs. Agreste any longer. Even Adrien wanted to propose her but she just asked him to get married because all what she wants is to be his wife

In her room, Marinette watched as little Tikki, her playful puppy, ran around and barked cutely.

She picked her up and headed to the bathroom. She slipped into the bathtub, the warm water soothing her nerves, while Tikki sat on the edge, her tongue hanging out in an adorable manner.

Marinette: you know, Tikki, today is the day I get to marry Adrien. Can you believe it? I'm so excited to finally be his wife

Tikki wagged her tail, tilting her head as if she understood every word. Marinette giggled and continued,

Marinette: I can't wait to see him standing at the altar, waiting for me. We have been through so much, and now we are starting a new life together.

As she spoke, Tikki tried to paw at the bubbles floating on the surface of the water making Marinette laugh

Marinette: you silly puppy, you are going to fall in if you aren't careful.

Just as she said that, Tikki lost her balance and splashed into the tub. Marinette's laughter echoed in the bathroom as she gently lifted the drenched puppy out of the water.

Marinette: oh, Tikki, look at you now you are all wet.

She carefully dried Tikki off with a towel, her smile never fading as she makes her laugh a lot.

Marinette: you know, little one, I can't wait to see Adrien today. He is going to look so sexy and handsome in his suit, and I just know that when I walk down the aisle, everything will be perfect.

Tikki, now dry, barked softly and nuzzled against Marinette's hand. Making Marinette's heart melt

Marinette: I love you too, Tikki. And I love Adrien so much. We are going to be such a happy family. me, Adrien, you, Plagg and our baby

She leaned back in the tub, her thoughts drifting to Adrien.

Marinette: I wonder what he is doing right now. Probably getting ready to look incredibly sexy. I can't wait to see him.

Marinette's hand rested on her growing belly, a smile spreading across her face.

Marinette: and soon, we will have our little baby with us. Life couldn't be more perfect.

On the other side, Adrien was also in the bathtub, letting the warm water soothe his nerves.

His little puppy, Plagg, was sitting on the edge of the tub, occasionally pawing at the water with curiosity. Adrien couldn't help but smile at Plagg

Adrien: today is the big day, Plagg

The blond haired man said, running a hand through his damp hair.

Adrien: I can't believe I'm finally marrying Marinette. I have been waiting for this moment for so long. And I fell for her the day I saw her for the first time

Plagg tilted his head, his tiny tail wagging making Adrien chuckle

Adrien: you know, Marinette has been so amazing through everything. And now, with our baby on the way, it's like everything is falling into place perfectly.
