"Bye papa, see you when I get back" I say gathering my school supplies in my backpack. "Bye, don't punch anyone" My papa says as he's sipping coffee. "I will!" I yell as I rush out the door.
I walk to Isabel's house and text her 'I'm ready, get your ass out here' A minute later, my best friend walks out the door. "Come on let's see if Cae and Jane are ready" She sighs and we start walking "I swear if Jane makes us miss the bus one more time I'm drowning her" When we nock on the door Aunt Piper opens it "Janes in the bathroom and Cae is packing" I groan "ugh is Jane ever on time?" Our Piper laughs "nope, at this point y'all won't even make it to school" Cae walks down "hai, Jane is still doing her makeup" Isabel nods "I will leave her here if she doesn't hurry up" I snort "sure you will" She glares at me "Shut up vampire" I huff "whatever blueberry" I yawn "Can't we just skip" Aunt Piper clears her throat "I'm right here"
Jane finally walks down the stairs "we can go now" I throw my hands up "finally!!" We walk out the house and start walking to the bus stop, I fidget with the power bracelet my school puts on the kids to contains our powers.
