chapter 6

Yeji's POV

i opened the door, and let ryujin walked into our house. i watched as she took off her shoes by the side of the door, i did the same.

i closed the door when i was greeted by the sound of:

"SHIN RYUJIN." hyunjin screamed, coming over to give her a high five.

i wish hyunjin wasn't invested in this enemies to lovers trope, because that's what this has become.

"hey hyunjin! can we talk for a second?"

"sure."

"ryujin, give me a minute. love you." i kissed her cheek before walking off

i pulled hyunjin into the kitchen, and silently argued:

"hyunjin, you gotta act normal."

"i predicted this though! i'm basically your matchmaker!"

"you are nowhere close to my matchmaker, hyunjin. please just act normal and dont bring up anything from the past, got it?"

"fine, also felix is coming over. should i help you make food?"

"i'll ask ryujin, thank you though."

hyunjin nodded and walked out the kitchen, i followed him out.

Ryujin's POV

woah, this place is pretty, and that's what i thought to myself when i entered this home.

yeji is talking to hyunjin, so i'll just sit on these couches while i wait.

i could sleep for two days in this couch, woah.

i would have to hold that thought because yeji and hyunjin came back.

yeji came over to me and grabbed me by the wrist. she dragged me to the kitchen.

"woah there, what happened?"

"we have to make food together, hyunjin's boyfriend is coming over."

"ugh.. do we have to?" i groaned

"yes, ryujin."

"i'll only cook if you give me a kiss."

"but ryuji–"

"please?" i gave her the best puppy eyes i could.

yeji leaned in for a forehead kiss, i feel myself melting.

"let's go, ryuddaeng." yeji grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the kitchen. that's an interesting nickname, i love it.

so i followed her into the kitchen, and i thought this place couldn't be any cleaner.

i put up my hair, and got to work.

after a while of cooking...

"yeji! felix is here!" i heard her brother call out, luckily we just finished cooking.

yeji was just putting away the ingredients and cleaning the kitchen while i had my arms wrapped around her waist.

"can we cuddle somewhere after dinner?" i asked, hugging her waist tighter.

i heard yeji chuckled quietly before replying:

"yes, ryuddaeng. we can go cuddle after dinner."

i waited for yeji to finish cleaning, before hearing a man say "hello" in an australian accent.

"hello yeji!" felix waved, yeji and i turned our heads in sync

felix gasped and asked:

"you have a girlfriend now? she's gorgeous!"

felix ran towards me and shook my hand

"what's your name?" he asked

"i'm shin ryujin, nice to meet you."

"oh, you're ryujin? hyunjin told me a lot about you. smile for a sec?"

i smiled then heard him say

"thats so cute! you have those whiskers dimples and yeji has cat eyes."

i smiled at yeji, she smiled back and i immediately kissed her cheek.

felix walked away after a bit of conversation, yeji and i continued until we finished preparing the dinner table.
