(Brian's P.O.V.)
I wake up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock flashing 6:30. I pressed the button to make the sound stop. I get up and stretch and I make my way to the bathroom to do my stuff.
See, today is gonna be different. I moved here to Boston because my mom finally found the courage to leave my abusive father. She found a little two bedroom house for us to live in.
I looked outside my window and it was foggy outside...just the way I like my mornings. Today is my first day of Junior year at this new high school I'm attending. The school isn't that far from my house it about 4 blocks down. I went down stair to see my mom cooking breakfast.
"Morning mom." ,I said.
"Morning son, ready for school?" ,she asked sounding sleepy.
"Not really...do I have to go?" ,I whined.
"Yes you do. You might like it...and maybe you'll meet a cute boy." ,my mom smirked at me.
My cheeks turned a lite shade of pink. Oh and also, did I forget to mention that I was bi?
"I guess..." ,I said as I was finishing my breakfast.
"Hurry up and get your backpack so you won't be late on your first day." ,my mom said.
I did as told and plugged in my earphones to my iPhone and started to play Brand New. I gave my mom a kiss on the cheek and started to make my way to school. I was taking some pictures of they sky for later to post on Instagram.
I got school and people were looking at me as I was trying to find my way to the office. I finally found it and there was one old lady there that looked like she was 80. I approached her.
"Excuse me..." ,I asked in a low voice.
"What can I do for you Hun?" ,she said in a preppy voice. Great, I hope this school isn't full of preppy people cause those people are annoying.
"Um...is this where I get my schedule?"
"Why yes, what's your name?"
"Brian MacDonald."
"Okay, give me a moment to print this."
I waited as she printed my schedule. When it was done she handed me the paper with my classes printed on it and my locker number.
I thanked her and walked out to try to find my first class, which is Algebra ll. Great...math, my worst subject. Before I went to class I went to my locker and went to put all my books in but left my Algebra book in my backpack and man was it heavy.
I was trying to figure out where my class was the bell rung and everyone made their way to class except me still trying to find it. Finally finding it I walked in and everyone had their eyes on me. I hate being the center of attention.
"Are you the new student?" ,asked the teacher.
"Y-yes I am." I said.
"I'll let you pass this time cause your new but don't let it happen again."
"O-okay sir." ,I said.
"Please call me Mr. Scott. Why don't you take a seat next to Alex. Alex please raise your hand."
The boy raised his and I made my way over to him and pulled out my materials needed for this class. He was teaching the lesson but I wasn't paying much attention.
"Okay class I'm gonna hand you a worksheet for you and your partner to work on together."
He started to pass out the worksheets and took out a piece of paper and so did Alex. He looked over at me.
