first day of school. when i'm at school i tend to keep my head down. people scare me more often than not. i have one thing on my mind, ignore people and get to class. i guess that's two. well, whatever. my mind is racing, all i can think about is the giant stain on my left shoe-
i slam straight into someone and drop all of my stuff. that alone made me want to curl into a ball and never move.
"oh my gosh. i am so, so sorry." i rush to pick up the person's (and my own) belongings but we reach down at the same time and bump heads. i'm pretty sure this has to be the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me, like ever. (except when i accidentally peed myself in the 2nd grade).
something made this incident even more embarrassing. the person i ran into, was a boy. and this boy. oh. my. gosh.
how do i even begin. the first thing i noticed was his outfit; he was wearing a dark brown nike crewneck sweater, a white t-shirt peeking out the bottom slightly, khaki-ish colored cargo pants, white nike air forces, at least four rings on both hands, and maybe three necklaces.
not only did his style look amazing but he was... well, gorgeous. he had fluffy brown hair with a slight mullet, but it went to his eyes in the front, dark brown eyes, tan skin, and a prominent jaw line.
how have i never noticed him before? i think. i realize i've been staring at him awkwardly while holding my forehead for at least 30 seconds.
"ehm, hi.." he smiles and cocks his head sideways slightly. even his teeth are perfect. alright, it's official: he's not real.
my face gets red and i just stare blankly at him, like the idiot i am.
he sticks out his hand, ushering me to shake it. "i'm new. my name's milo. what's yours?"
this year might be more interesting than i thought it would be.
