She never thought she'd have his eyes on her again. Maybe she missed the pretty green in his hazel eyes, she certainly missed the attention that came with it. As much as she tried burying that beneath herself. It didn't feel good, though, not this time. She never thought she'd have his eyes on her again. Certainly not 8 years later.

The girl woke up in a decent mood, sleep deprived eyes glancing at her alarm clock. She was cutting it close, as always. It was hard not to sleep in late when it took her so long to fall asleep.
Nevertheless it was her responsibility to get herself ready on time. Especially when her parents weren't there to make sure. Well, they were there, that was for sure.
Arguing could still be heard from the bathroom as the h/c haired girl washed her face, dotting concealer under her eyes to appear more alive. She had learned to drown it out, and now it was nothing more than added white noise next to her air conditioner.
She straightened her shoulders in the bathroom mirror, feeling a little more uplifted. She thought her new uniform was cute, and along with that, she had heard good things about Karasuno. She already knew she would like it.
The staircase creaked as she thumped down it, snagging a handful of granola bars and shoving them into her backpack before she walked out the door. She had realized a while ago sneaking out didn't really do much, not when they were too distracted with each other to notice her.
She did feel better, though, when she got out of the suffocating house. As much as she hated the fact her parents were right, fresh air really did make you feel better. Maybe that's why she spent so much time outside.
It wasn't the nicest day, the sky was grey and according to the weather, it was supposed to rain any minute and until morning. But it was perfectly breezy, which almost made the girl glad she was transferring in the fall. She tilted her head back towards the sky, watching a singular crow pass by.
When she entered the school a weird feeling came over her, and for some odd reason she felt like her life was about to change. She could feel it in her gut that maybe this school wouldn't be as great as everyone said. But then again, that could just be her nerves. She pushed open the doors.

The girl sighed, back slumping against her locker. She closed her e/c eyes in thought. She was doing good. She had made it through all her classes except one, and even made a friend. She had just forgotten how exhausting school could be, especially with the lack of sleep, and the fact that due to transferring, the first week wouldn't be easy like it was for regular students. She knew one thing for sure, she hated introducing herself and anything to do with icebreakers.
Grabbing her books from her locker, she hyped herself up in her head, glancing at the room number on the schedule she had taped to her locker. It was the last subject, and besides, she had shaken that weird feeling she had off.
