This is going to be so awkward; I voted him over Fiore. I looked at my hands in deep thought about what to tell him. I could lie and say I told to vote him by Ashely...Or I could say I meant to vote Fiore but forgot? I sighed loudly and put my head in my hands. Why do I care so much? Before I could even answer that question, the door opened again to Hunter in a more appropriate outfit.
"Sorry about that. I didn't expect you to get eliminated this early. Actually, eliminated at all." He apologized while sitting next to me on the bed. He then narrowed his eyes to me remembering what I did. I looked up and sighed.
"Sorry dude...I promise it wasn't personal." I mumbled, I looked anywhere but his face to dodge eye contact. He put his hand on my shoulder and looked at me.
"It isn't that serious anymore. I forgave you a long time ago." He rolled his eyes and giggled. He then got up and started picking up the clothes off the ground. "Sorry about the mess. Wasn't expecting you to be back." He added on while hovering around the hotel room picking up any clothes.
"You mentioned that earlier...Did you think I was going to win?" I asked while getting up to put away my suitcase. I looked at Hunter who looked startled by that question. "Hunter...?" I asked again.
"I mean yeah...I was actually rooting for you" He hesitantly said before continuing to pick up the room. My red flushed red from embarrassment.
I looked down, "That's another person I let down." I said stiffly, still looking down. Hunter sat right next to me again and looked at me with confusion.
"Jake...you didn't let me down. You tried and failed so what?" He comforted, looking at me with a warm smile. "Also, Not trying to change the subject, but what do you mean by another person?" He furrowed his eyebrows slightly concerned.
"I officially broke up with Tom." I muttered, looking into the wall. I slowly continued, "He wanted to get back with me before I got on the bus, but I rejected him." I looked back at Hunter who had his eyes widened.
"You rejected him?" Hunter gasped, I glared at him in annoyance. He then quickly reworded the sentence, "I mean...that's big for you Jake. I'm actually very proud of you." His face softened. "It's getting late, let's talk about this tomorrow?" he asked gently. I looked at him with my heart racing.
"Sure..." I nodded slowly my face still facing the floor. I got up quickly and rushed to the bathroom. I put my head in my hands. What the fuck just happened.
