You go to a futbol game to watch La Seleccion Mexicana, thinking nothing out of the ordinary would happen. But then a particular someone cant take his eyes off of you.👀

"Y/n? Mija por que estas dormiendo en tu ropa de ayer?" you heard kinda muffled. But you recognized the voice. It was your mom.
"Ma?" you said with a rusty voice.
You turned around and saw your mom standing beside your bed with a confused face.
You quickly sat up and looked at your outfit. "I was too tired last night to take it off" you said rubbing your eyes.
"Ok get up and get ready for the day, ok?" your mom said.
You nodded before your mom walked out your room. You quickly got out of bed and went to your bathroom to start the water in your shower.
After you showered, changed and did your skincare routine, you went downstairs and went to eat some breakfast.
You walked into your kitchen saying good morning to your family. Your mom made some frijoles with some eggs. After you ate, you went on your phone.
You opened the messages Diego had sent you the day before.

Hey, sorry i've been distant. I'm ok, i just needed some time for myself.
You put your phone down onto your vanity as you went back to straightening your hair.
Then you felt your phone buzz. You checked who it was, and of course it was Diego.

Hey, it's completely fine. I need days like that too. Do you want to go out and eat soon before you go back to NY?
Yea sure, i'm free for lunch on Sunday. Are you?

You suddenly felt anxious for Sunday. You had this thought of telling Diego how you felt about him. But would it ruin your friendship? Or will it be the start of something bigger?...
*Sunday*
You were putting on your shoes as you were ready to go out for lunch with Diego. You had a simple but cute outfit.

A pink tank top, with baggy jeans, Adidas shoes, and your white mini purse.
You picked up the Merceds key chain from the key holder and went out the door.
Your drive your way to the cafe Diego picked out. It wasn't a far drive, you got there after 10 minutes. You parked in the parking lot and got out making your way to the cafe.
You looked at yourself on the Camera app on your phone and made sure you looked good. You put your phone down as you walked into the cafe.
You looked around to see where Diego was, then you saw him waving at you with a small smile. He got up as you were walking to the table and gave you a side hug.
"Hey, how have you been? It's been a while heh." he said with a small chuckle.
"Hey, i've been good. What about you? And yea i know it's just our busy schedules." You said looking at the menu.
"Yea i've had practice everyday, it's brutal. But i've been doing good." he said.
You looked at him and nodded with a soft smile. You continued looking at the menu before the waiter came and took your orders. You ordered a chicken cesar wrap. Diego ordered a lettuce wrapped burger with fries.
There was silence for a while after the waiter left. You didn't know what to say to Diego. Meanwhile Diego had a few questions but didn't know where to start. He was staring at you the entire time while you were looking out the window to avoid eye contact.
"Y/n were you ignoring me or did you really just need time for yourself" he said sounding concerned.
You looked at him quickly. "I needed time to reflect on myself. It had nothing to do with you, partially." You said muttering the last word under your breath.
"Are you sure there isn't something you wanted to say or talk about?" He said still looking concerned.
"No, did you want to say or talk about something?" you said.
"Yea, were you upset when you say me with my friend Jasmine?" he said rubbing his hand on the back of his neck.
You didn't know what to say. "What? No why would i be upset?" you said with a chuckle. You were very upset when you saw them but you would never confess your feelings to a man.
"Oh, well i thought you were. My bad." he said chuckling.
You guys ate and you gave Diego your phone number since he didn't have it already. Diego paid for the both of you obviously. Once you guys walked out the cafe, Diego asked you to follow him to his car. "I want to give you something." he said with a smirk. You looked at confused because you had no idea what he was gonna give you.
He unlocked his car and opened the passenger door to reveal a Michael Kors bag. He took out the bag and handed it to you.
"I bought you this because i saw you eyeing it when we went out the first time. Open it." he said smiling.
You were shocked that he got you an expensive bag but you were confused since you had forgotten about what he was talking about.
You opened it on the hood of his car. The duffel bag revealed the pink Michael Kors bag. Suddenly you remembered. You looked at Diego shocked.
"No way!! Oh my gosh thank you so much Diego!!! I love it!!" you said setting down the bag and placing your hands over his shoulders, hugging him.
He hugged you back, placing his hands on your lower back and rubbing your back up and down. You backed up and looked at him before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
You noticed his face fluster up and his cheeks turned into a rosy pink color. You went back to looking at the bag.
"You're welcome!! I wanted to put a smile on your face. One of the most beautiful things about you." He said smiling at you.
You looked at him and smiled big. You felt your face heat up. You got major butterflies in your stomach. Gosh i hope i'm not red like a tomato right now. Diego walked you to your car carrying the bag he bought you as well.
You said your goodbyes and gave him a side hug before taking the bag and going into your car. He stood there as he watched you speed off in your Mercedes.
