Chapter 1 • Suprise

* Isla-Wrens POV *

I wake up to Mrs Greenwich shouting
Mrs Greenwich: ITS TIME TO WAKE UP, WAKE UP
So I quickly get out of bed grabbing my uniform from under my bed and run to the bathroom quickly shutting and locking the door then getting changed and putting on my plain black headband then I go back to my room and put my pjs under my pillow before grabbing my school bag and putting Jeff in it then I go downstairs and nearly bump into Mrs Greenwich
Mrs Greenwich: watch where you're going girl
She complains
Mrs Greenwich: It's time for your tablets
I nod and follow her to the kitchen where she gets out my tablets and I get some water then take them as she walks off.
I then put the glass in the sink and make my way out.
5 minutes later, I get to the park so I go onto the swings for a bit.

After 10 minutes of swinging, I jump off, grab my bag and walk to school.

When I get to school, I walk in and sit straight at my seat which is the closest to the door.

We do math and English then it's break time where I sit and watch the boys play football. When we go back to class, it's science and Spanish then lunch where I sit on my own then watch the boys play football again. After that it's art and we do drawings so I draw myself all alone and sad.

Once schools finished, I go back home and straight upto my room where I get changed into my everyday outfit then grab Jeff and go downstairs where I drink a cup of water and eat a snack bar before walking to football.

It takes about half an hour but when I get there I see our coach Tim
Tim: Heya Izzy
I smile
Isla-Wren: Hi
Tim: We've got a suprise for today's training
Isla-Wren: What is it?
Tim: If I told you it wouldn't be a suprise now would it
He laughs
Isla-Wren: no
I giggle
Tim: Pass us your bobble
I take my bobble off my wrist and he puts my hair in a ponytail for me
Isla-Wren: Thank you
Tim: no problem now go on, do you want to hand out footballs to the lads as they come
Isla-Wren: yes please
I say with a smile, thankful he's not leaving me out.
I go over to the ball bag leaving Jeff on the bench before hand out the balls as the boys come with them all saying some form of thank you.

When everyone gets here,
Tim: gather round everyone
We all go to Tim
Tim: so, we have a special suprise for this week's training sessions
Everyone starts getting excited
Tim: Please welcome
We do a drum roll
Tim: Lucy Bronze
As he says that THE LUCY BRONZE walks over to us and everyone cheers excited
Jacob: Hey Izzy, it's your twin
I laugh
Lucy: What's your name?
She asks me and I just look around for help
Jacob: Her full name is Isla-Wren Lucia Bronze so we call you her twin
He answers for me
Lucy: Well nice to meet you twin
She smiles and the boys all laugh
Tim: Right we are gonna split into 2 groups and one group will train with Lucy whilst the other trains with me but don't worry, you will swap over next session.
All the boys nod and Tim splits them in half
Tim: Izzy do you want to help Lucy coach?
I look at him nervously
Lucy: Come on, I need some help with these boys and hey us girls have got to stick together right?
She jokes with a comforting smile
Tim looks at me with a reassuring smile and nod and I go over to Lucy
Tim: because of her arm she cannot partake in training right now which she knows but watch her cause she will try
He laughs and I have a cheeky smile on my face whilst
Lucy nods with a smile and we go over to her group
Lucy: So we are gonna do some basic training first so passes
She splits them into pairs and sets them off
Lucy: So who do I need to watch out for?
She asks crouching down to my level and I point to Ollie
Lucy: Him?
She asks pointing to him aswell and I nod
Lucy: Will do thank you
She smiles at me then tells the boys to do it faster.

After practicing passes, Tim decides to do I mini match so it's Tim's team versus Lucy's team and I stand with Tim and Lucy whilst they play.
Tim: You ok iz?
I nod
Tim: How's home?
I just give him a blank face to explain and he nods understanding when the ball comes and stops right at my feet and I kick it up twice before bolting it onto the pitch

ucy: Wow, that was powerful
I give her a shy smile
Tim: Isla
He says in a warning tone and I look up at him sheepishly as he just shakes his head.

The game ends with Lucy's team winning and we all celebrate.
Tim: Ok, time to tidy up and go home
I stay and help Tim and Lucy tidy everything up as everyone else goes.

Once it's all packed away
Tim: Do you want a lift Iz?
I shake my head with a smile
Isla-Wren: it's ok don't worry, I'm fine walking
Tim: Ok kid, if you're sure
I nod
Tim: See you tomorrow Iz
I wave to him then Lucy who waves back and grab Jeff before I start my walk back home.

30 minutes later, I get home and go straight to the kitchen where I find my dinner in the microwave so I quickly eat that then go to Mrs Greenwich's office and knock on the door
Mrs Greenwich: Come in
I walk in and stand there awkwardly
Mrs Greenwich: You're back, come with me to take your tablets
I follow her back into the kitchen where she gives me my tablets then walks off as I take with some water then go upto my room and grab my PJ's before going to the bathroom and put them on then go back to my room, put my clothes away then get into bed falling into a nightmare filled sleep.
