The next day, Yae Miko sat at Uyuu Restaurant, waiting for Raiden Ei to come see her. She took a bite out of some fried tofu and began to consider some options. Should she perform a ritual on Hina? Should she ask Ei to arrest her? No, those wouldn't work, because she'd just use her powers to get away.
As Yae was getting more and more hopeless, Ei walked in and sat next to her.
"Sorry I'm late, as I was walking, some kids stopped me and asked to play a game of Temari." Ei said, grabbing some food.
"Oh, Hi." Yae Miko said. "I got you some Dango Milk." Yae reached into her bag and pulled out a crate of Dango Milk.
"Thank you!" Ei grabbed the crate and began drinking some of the milk.
As Ei and Yae were eating, Yae remembered why they were there and began to talk.
"So, do you have any ideas on how to stop Hina?" She asked while eating some Katsu Sandwiches.
"No, you?" Ei said
"Well, I was thinking about some sort of ritual to get rid of her powers, but then I remembered that she has powers, and she could very much use those powers to get away." Yae said.
"So then maybe try and trap her somewhere? Kind of like a Plane of Euthymia type place?" Ei suggested.
"Maybe..." Yae pondered "But how are we going to get her in there? Do we lure her in? Promise her something?"
"Maybe we can offer her some more power, like promising if she goes in there she'll be more powerful than the archon?" Ei suggested.
"It's cheesy, but it seems like it'll work..." Yae said.
Yae Miko and Raiden Ei began walking to a hidden Torii gate under Grand Narukami Shrine. As they reached the entrance, Yae casted a spell to break the barrier. The Torii gate was large, red, and had a sakura pattern going down each side.
"Why do you have this here?" Ei questioned
"It's to trap Yokai and other evil beings that are wreaking havoc on Inazuma. It doesn't matter where the spirit, this thing can trap anything. So this should be able to trap Hina." Yae opened the gate's portal.
The center of the gate began to glow a pale pink. Yae stuck her head through to make sure it was the right space, and then gave Ei a "thumbs up."
"Now, let's go find Hina." Ei began walking away before Yae stopped her.
"We don't know if she will be passive around us, or if she'll attack. We should be prepared just in case. You remember what you did with the Traveler, right?" Yae said.
"Don't remind me of that." Ei grumbled. "But yes, we should be prepared."
The two walked back to Inazuma City, and went to go get their weapons. Yae then agreed to meet Ei the next day. She then went back to Grand Narukami Shrine and sat down in front of the Sacred Sakura.
"Why did this have to happen? Maybe it is my fault...maybe she was just a little too power-hungry and should have calmed down...but then again, people would stop coming to the shrine, so maybe it wasn't my fault."
As Yae was thinking to herself, she felt a strong breeze sweep some sakura petals onto her lap. Then, her vision clouded, and she ended up in an empty space face-to-face with a woman with black and pink hair, a kitsune mask, and a red and white kimono...
