We were all at Central Perk, I can't remember how we had landed on the topic of kissing during a date, but we had. I was of the opinion that a kiss meant something good, like another date with a guy or a call later. "What you guys don't understand is for us, kissing is as important as any part of it." Monica explained to the guys, I was sitting next to her on the couch. As a group we had divided sides, girls on one and boys on the other.
I nod my head, Monica was right. "Agreed."
Joey scoffed, "Yeah, right. Seriously?" We all gave him a look of seriousness. We weren't joking. "Oh, yeah." Phoebe nodded at him.
"Everything you need to know is that first kiss." Rachel looked at us for confirmation, I nodded my head, "Oh, 100%."
Chandler gestured to himself and then to Ross and joey before saying, "I think for us kissing is pretty much like an opening act, you know? It's like the stand-up comedian you have to sit through before Pink Floyd comes in." I shake my head at Chandler, smiling slightly. Of course they would think that.
"Yeah, and it's not that we don't like the comedian. It's just that that's not why we bought the tickets." Ross said a little nervous at our reaction, Monica scoffed.
"The problem is, though after the concerts over no matter how great the show was you girls are always looking for the comedian again. I mean we're in the car, fighting traffic. Basically, just trying to stay awake." Chandler tells us, Ross and Joey nod their heads agreeing with Chandler. We all looked at each other laughing slightly.
If I had to think about it, I knew where they were coming from, but all women enjoyed a kiss after the show. It was like saying 'hey, I enjoyed the show with you, let's do it again.' "Yeah, well, word of advice: bring back the comedian. Otherwise, next time you're gonna find yourself sitting at home listening to that album alone." Damn straight Rach, Monica and Rachel gave each other a high five, well deserved.
Joey looks at us confused; he taps Ross' leg getting his attention. "Are we still talking about sex?" Ross gives him a thumbs up as an indication that we are still on that topic.

We had gathered at Monica's; I'd never understand why but this was like our second home. If we weren't in the café we were here. I sat next to Chandler, the TV broadcasting 'Three's Company'. Monica had been cleaning her apartment none stop and had only just reached the living room.
