It had been a long day for both Rudra and Anvi. The meeting had been a success and they had immediately signed the contract with their client in the afternoon and had to attend a business event in the evening. By the time they came back it was already late and both were tired. Sleep soon engulfed Anvi, but Rudra lay wide awake beside her.

For some reason he couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. He wanted to go back and check on Anika. A lot of things had happened in the past two weeks and he wished to talk things out with her. He was aware that she was hiding a lot of things, some he knew and some he didn't. He hoped it won't be too late by the time she finally opens up.

Thinking all this he sighed and was about to close his eyes when his phone's screen lit up. He had received a few messages from an unknown number. Rudra picked up his phone, opening the messages and sat there dumbfounded and seething in rage for a long time, staring at the content of the message. He then called his head security. "Dutta. Arrange the jet. We'll be leaving at dawn. And look into something for me." Rudra ordered and cut the call.

Back in Mumbai, the club.

A stunned silence followed Myra's words. Juneja felt as if someone had choked his heart. "You are a bloody ingrate. Biting the hands that feed you. I did not invest in you for years so that you could backstab me one day." he spat out, while cursing the girl sitting in front of him silently.

He was itching to grab her and beat some sense into her, but his instincts told him not to do anything stupid. For some reason he felt threatened in his own base. "Cut the crap Juneja. You invested in me so that you could auction me off at the right time." Myra growled as the temperature in the room dropped further.

If Juneja was stunned earlier, he was feeling suffocated now. He had seen the lethal aura that surrounded Myra before too, but what caught him off guard was the oppressive and menacing vibes that were coming from the man standing behind her. He had ignored him as a servant, but it seems he was highly mistaken. "How..how did ... What nonsense !." He exclaimed in a flustered manner. He had been very careful to hide his intentions in front of her.

Myra pinned him with an intense glare. "What do you want.?" He asked, finally dropping his pretence and thinking about other ways to trap her. "I have enough evidence to get you a lifetime imprisonment, Juneja. Stay away from me and you'll be safe. And make sure everyone knows that MIRAGE is free." Myra stated with a slight smile as she got up.

"You will regret this thoroughly Myra." Juneja gritted out, with bloodshot eyes. Myra stopped and turned back. "We'll see Juneja." Myra scoffed with a fierce look in her eyes and stormed out of the booth. Juneja was about to stand up but one look from Shashank and he was rooted to his spot. There was something so intense in the gaze that made him paralyzed for a moment.

Once he was sure that Juneja would not try anything foolish, Shashank hurried out of the booth to catch up with Anika. He was still reeling from all that he had heard and seen in the past few hours. His perception of the whole situation was thoroughly shaken as he realised his mistake. His opinions and suspicions regarding Anika, proved to be misguided.

Anika had already reached the elevator by the time Shashank caught up with her. They both were silent, lost in their own thoughts as they walked back to their car. Anika could sense the question's burning in Shahsnak's eyes as they settled in and he pulled out of the club. "Can you drop me to the beach?" Anika inquired softly, effectively breaking the silence. The adrenaline from the earlier matches was slowly wearing off as the gravity of the whole situation sunk in. Shashank glanced at her, noticing the tired look on her face and veered off his car towards the beach. Anika broke out of her dazed state as the car stopped and she got down, looking at the sea with a small smile.
