3rd POV

Y/n walked excused themself as their phone rang. "I'll wait for your answer, Chiharu." they stated before walking out of the room. Closing the room behind them, Y/n looked down at the phone, seeing a familiar contact. Their eyes looked around for anyone near and once they has saw it was clear, they answered the phone, bringing it up to htheir ear.

"Hey, What's up?" Y/n was first to talk. shifting their weight to their left leg. 

[I got the footage. It's only one angle though. They all wiped out every cameras around that area. As for the house burning, I only found out that there were 4 involved.]

"what do you expect from a whore? But you didn't tell me there were four people involved. I thought it was only 2?" Y/n chuckled, shaking their head as they placed the phone to the other side. "How about those involved?" 

[That's what I thought too. But it seems there are others that I wasn't able to find out. Their records are really hidden, Y/n]

"Do what you can." 

[Yes, maam.]

Dropping the call, Y/n let out a big sigh, rubbing their forehead. As Y/n closed her eyes, they tried to steady their breathing, only to hear a soft clink. Y/n whipped their head around quickly.

"Ah shit!" 

2nd POV

Both you and him jumped, startled. 

"What the fuck, Kei?" you cursed, quickly punching his arm making him groan, rubbing it. "It was you who startled me!"

"It was you who was spying on me!!"

Baji went quiet, nodding slowly. "Okay point taken."

HIs words made you chuckle, shaking your head. "Why did you follow me?" You asked as baji leaned his back against the railings outside hina's apartment. "I was worried. You can never be too careful." He grinned, making you nod, following him to lean against the railings.

"Hey, I heard your sigh. Want to share?" Baji turned his head towards you. You hummed, staring at the buildings. "It's nothing serious." 

Baji scoffed, laughing. "I may be slightly dumb, but I am a great at seeing people's feelings." He stated proudly as you stiffle your laugh. "Oh yeah? It's 'great at knowing what people are feeling' stupid." At your words, baji stood there, letting a small 'oh' of realization.

"Nevermind that! I'm asking what you're feeling or thinking." He huffed, as you bit your lower lip before speaking. 

"I'm worried for our safety. This is the first time I've experience this. I don't want you guys to keep getting hurt because of this...this stupid soulmate shit." You let out a frustrated groan, gripping on your hair as baji quickly grabbed your wrist.

"HEY! Don't hurt yourself!" Baji gently pulled your hand away from your head as he held your hands, caressing the top of it with his thumb. "Pretty, you shouldn't do that. " Baji shook his head.

"You know, I wouldn't mind experiencing everything as long as its with you." 

You pasued for a moment, before raising an eyebrow. Baji widened his eyes. 

"I-i don't mean you getting hurt and all but like- what i mean is-"

You laughed at him. He stopped talking, noticing you were laughing, which made him laugh with you.

"You're so stupid, Kei. But, I understood what you meant." You smiled, gripping on his hands, before tugging it, placing a small kiss on his cheek. "Thank you."

Baji's face went red, but he smiled. "N-no problem! I'm glad i was some kind of help." 

His reaction made you smile, pulling hand again as you tug him back inside. Your eyes dropped to the standing chiharu who turned her body, eyes showing determination as she walked towards you.

"I'll be your pawn, L/n." 

Her words made you stare at her, before smiling. 

Good choice.

Shinju dialed her number for the 15th time, only for it to reach voicemail. She let out a screech, slamming the phone on the table multiple times before the door opened which she threw the phone at the person at the door. 

Kisaki ducked the object, quietly closing the door behind him.

"What is it?" Kisaki rests his hand behind him, analyzing shinju's distressed look. "G-get me new mens! And buy me a new phone." Shinju said, anger in her voice as kisaki hummed, looking at the phone on the floor.

"what else?" he asked as he watches shinju mumbled words that he couldn't hear.

I'll fucking kill her for now answering. Bitch really loves ignoring me. She'll pay slowly and surely.

Shinju giggled, to which kisaki cleared his throat.

"What else, shinju?" He asked again as shinju looked up, her dark orbs staring at him as she sent him a grin.

"Get me some benzodiazepines and ketamine."
