After Rocky had her fainting moment after seeing the Brothers, Donnie carried her to the couch where she could be more comfortable when she woke up. Afina-Jade quickly got a cold wash cloth and put it on her friend's forehead to relax her. "What's gonna happen when she wakes up?" Asked Jade, looking at Leo or Donnie. "She won't forget seeing you all in my home."
"Maybe we can leave and she'll forget." Said Raph, believing it was a great idea.
"Uh, no." Donnie replied with a short laugh. "If Rocky didn't hit her head, then it's likely she will remember us."
"Well, we gotta come up with somethin'!" Jade said, dabbing the wet cloth on Rocky's head.
Jade's voice managed to wake Rocky up from being unconscious for about fifteen minutes. She turned to look down at her friend and saw her eyes were opening up. "Mm..." She mumbled, blinking a few times before looking Jade in her eyes. "Jade?"
"Hey, Rocky. I'm here." Said Jade.
"Am I dreaming? I swear I just saw--" Rocky glanced to the right from where she rested and witnessed the Brothers standing over her and Jade. To her, they felt like buildings sitting in the room, or four elephants because they are so tall and well built with muscle.
Mikey smiled at her, waving happily. "Hey, there!"
Rocky took in a sharp inhale and belted out a scream that filled the apartment's living room. "Oh my God!!" She jumped from the couch and pointed at the mutants erratically. "You are not real!"
Donnie plugged his ears and Leo let out a groan to show he was stressed about this situation. The Brothers are always worried about their existence and they have every right to be. Rocky's freak-out nearly brought the neighbors to the door to complain about the ruckus. Thankfully, no one came knocking.
"Of course, we're real!" Mikey spoke to her.
"Mikey, shut up!" Raph nudged him.
"Ohhhh.... sh*t!" Rocky exclaimed, looking back at Jade. "What is happening?! Who are these green men?"
"Rocky! Please sit down and calm yourself! I know it's a lot to take in." Jade clutched her shoulders. "They're my friends!"
"F-Friends?" Rocky finally brought her volume to a tolerable one. Jade sat down with her friend on the couch as the turtles kneeled to their level.
Jade nodded. "Yes." She said. "Well... more like family." Her eyes met Leo's when she said those last few words. It made him smile, too. Making eye contact with someone special or just anyone built a mysterious connection and it created something deep for Afina-Jade. It felt sweet. Then, she introduced each brother in order, from oldest to youngest. She explained that they were new friends to her, they were teenagers who knew how to fight crime in the big city as ninjas and they protect the citizens.
"Ninjas." Rocky said gently. Well, it's pretty badass to know some ninjas who live in the sewers. Still, it was a lot to take in.
"Right," Said Jade. "And... Did I mention Casey knows about them, too?"
Rocky's eyes widened, her jaw dropping to her shoes. "That bitch knows?!"
Instantly, the Brothers snickered at Rocky's response. Raphael laughed the loudest, getting a kick out of Jade's friend. He found her to be on the feistier side with a splash of attitude and a hint of kindness.
"Listen," Jade said to Rocky, the Brothers still listening. "You have to promise me, well, us that you won't say anything about these guys. Please."
Raquel looks at the mutants one by one, looking into their eyes for a split second. She sighed, folding her hands together and back at Jade. "Well, I--"
