Liu Shu heard their conversation, and seeing that Flor had sorted it out, she sent a message before focusing on her Level Up. 'See you later, Verdantia, Cinderielle~.'
Both Sylvans stiffened, their faces gaining a reddish color. They answered with a shy and flirty tone. "S-See you later, Tiantian~."
"Yes! See you later, Liu'er!"
Flor looked at Verdantia with a weird gaze. 'Why are they so eager to give her nicknames? Moreover, Liu'er? What's does that -'er mean?'
Verdantia saw Flor's gaze and smiled. "Mom told me that it is a term of endearment from another language! I think it sounds nice, so I added it~."
Flor blinked and asked. "Was I too obvious?"
Verdantia laughed. "You were."
Flor scratched her cheek. "I see."
Ignatia appeared from somewhere and smiled. "Flor! I heard that the little one is going to Level Up?"
Flor nodded and looked at the Ant Queen for a few seconds. "Where did you come from?"
Ignatia pointed at a place, and after following her finger, they saw a hole surrounded by rocks with stairs and such that led into the ground. Flor's eyebrow twitched. "When did you do this?"
Ignatia laughed. "Well, I did it with Liu Shu's permission, so don't worry about small details! Now, My nest and this place are connected! I've also covered my nest's entrance much more and fortified the walls. The Little One helped me with it as well, using her roots to create a passage~."
Ignatia grinned. "Also, I've managed to complete half of that quest I spoke about~."
Flor blinked. "Oh? Has it got something to do with World Trees?"
Ignatia rubbed her chin. "Not exactly World Trees, but it's more about creating a proper ant society. The reason I need to be almost Level 20 is that there is also a population requirement, and until I am a much higher-level, I don't think I will be able to give birth to so many little ones."
Flor nodded. "I see. So, connecting with the town has fulfilled those conditions."
Ignatia grinned, showing rows of sharp teeth. "Yes. I have to thank the Little One for that, haha." Ignatia commented. "So... I'm here to protect her as she Levels Up!"
Cinderielle asked, curious. "You alone?"
Ignatia moved her head, directing her compound eyes toward Cinderielle, and her lips arched. "How could an Ant Queen be alone when fighting? Come out, little ones."
Then, from the hole that was around four meters wide, ants started crawling out in the hundreds. One after another, like a black and red tide, they appeared in the surroundings and started crawling around.
Ignatia's throat started creating clicking sounds as she ordered them around. The two Sylvan's felt their skin crawling as creature after creature appeared. "J-Just how many did you carry with you?"
Ignatia looked at Cinderielle and shrugged. "Well, I wanted to protect her well, so I called 500 little darlings~. Between them, half are all Level 7 and above~."
Verdantia asked. "What Level are you, Ignatia?"
Ignatia didn't have a problem answering them; she knew Flor trusted these two, and so did she. With her intelligence, she could clearly tell how deeply they cared about Liu Shu. "I'm Level 13~."
Flor blinked. "Huh? You caught up?"
Ignatia laughed. "Surprised?"
Verdantia muttered. "No wonder Ant Queens are considered such a threat. In just half a year, you managed to create this army? Humans, Sylvans, and almost any other race would need years to grow their young ones and make them as strong."
