MIKA stared at the house in front of her, thankfully alex was able to find parking in the drive way so they didn't have to walk far and the walk back would be a breeze.
"alex" mika sighed, turning her head to the boy, "how you gon come to a cookout and not bring some food"
alex groaned, smacking his head lightly, "fuck i forgot"
"yeah i can see that" mika replied, going back to the car and grabbing something out of the backseat. "lucky for you, i bought brownies just in case something like this happened"
alex smiled at her, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "what would i do without you"
mika shook her head, lightly smiling at him. the two continued the way to the backdoor and into the backyard.
