"This is the most boring day I've ever had." I groaned, shutting the lore book Sam was forcing me to read with a loud thud. Sam rolled his eyes at me, "If you wanna figure out how to get the angels back to heaven, then you're gonna have to do some research." He said in a condescending voice. "Fine, but you don't have to be a dick about it..." I mumbled under my breath. Sam's head snapped towards me, giving me a bitch face. Obviously, he heard me.

I heard Dean chuckle from behind me, and I spun around to look at him. "What?" I spat, "Nothin," He threw me a lazy smile. And an involuntary smile broke on my face. Dean Winchester has always made me feel so giddy. He just has that effect on me. I'm sure his green eyes, gorgeous body, and infectious personality is to blame for that. I felt a sharp kick to my leg and shot a glare at Sam, who was giving me the 'you are down bad' look. I mouthed, "Shut up." At him and lucky for me, Dean didn't notice.

"Can we please take a break," I whined. "Fine, just stop being annoying!" Sam exclaimed, "Yay!" I jumped up and threw the book onto the table, much to Sammy's dismay. "Great, I could use a break too!" Dean also got up from his sitting position.

I walked to my room at the bunker to grab a sweater to go on a walk. The boys knew I loved my walks in the woods around the bunker. It was my time to myself, a time when I didn't have to worry about saving the world. It was my moment of peace. I, of course, brought my gun and a hunting knife, but that was just for my safety.

I heard a soft knock on my doorframe and quickly turned to see who it was. Dean stood there with two mugs in his hands, awkwardly trying not to spill whatever was inside. "I made you some coffee," he smiled. It warmed me.

He eyed my sweater and the gun on my belt. "Oh, were you going on one of your walks?" He asked, and I swear I heard disappointment in his voice. "It can wait, now give me that coffee." I said, hurrying over to grab the cup from him. His face lit up again, "Wanna watch something?" I suggested. Dean nodded enthustiastically and sat on my bed. "What do you wanna watch?" I asked, he shrugged, "I don't care, whatever you want." He smiled at me, and I felt that warm feeling spread across my body again, I can only hope my cheeks aren't red. I turned to the TV and went to the search bar, "You can pick between Coraline, Friday the 13th, House of Wax, or My Bloody Valentine." I listed off the different options I was willing to watch.

"What was the first one?" He asked with his brows furrowed, "Coraline?" "Yeah! What's that?" I could feel my face light up, "It's one of my favourites-" "Great, lets watch it then!" He cut me off, knowing once I started to talk about something I'm intrested in it's difficult for me to shut up. I excitedly pressed play, and got more comfortable on the bed. I rested my head on Dean's shoulder and could see him smile sftly in the corner of my eye.

I could tell Dean was very much enjoying the movie, though you wouldn't think he would like Coraline he was extremely invested. Every time a character would say something interesting or an anxiety inducing scene came on, he would slightly lean closer to the TV. He would look extremely focused and would look over to me when he saw a shocking part of the movie. I think he wasnted to see how I was reacting to it before he did. I think he struggles to connect with others. So when he does, he needs constant reassurance, even when just watching a movie.

Once the movie was done, I patted Deans head, which some how had ending up resting in my lap. He groaned and rolled over. I pulled my sweater on again and strapped my gun to my belt. "You're still going on your walk?" I heard him ask softly from behind me. "Yeah, why wouldn't I?" I asked a little confused. "I don't know, it's getting dark out there." He answered. "Dean, it gets dark at like four now." I rolled my eyes. "Okay, but be careful." He sighed and started to leave the room. "You can with me if you want," I suggested, and Dean quickly turned around and leaned on the door frame. Amusment played on his face, "You want me to come on a walk with you?" He questioned, and I nodded, rolling my eyes. "Yes, why do you not wanna come?" "No no, i'm just surprised, is all." I gave him a look, and he chuckled. Flashing me that gorgeous grin of his. "Are you coming or not?" I asked fake annoyance in my voice. "Yes, of course I'm coming."

The air was cold and crisp, but not the cold you felt deep in your bones. It was a comfortable cold that. Dean was wearing the black sweater that I hadn't seen him wear in years, I liked it. He looked so pretty with his cheeks tinted pink from the cold wind and his hair a little messy. "You're staring," he teased, and I quickly looked away. "Sorry." I mumbled. He nudged me lightly with his shoulder. "I never said I didn't like it." He teased some more, giving me the flirty grin he gives to waitresses when he wants something for free. "You know, you've never told me why you like fall so much." He said, breaking the newfound tension. I took a deep breath, deciding to act more normal.

"It's nostalgic and comforting, I guess." He gave me a curious look. "Just all the activities th scary movies -" "We hunt monsters for a living that's not enough scary for you?" He laughed, and it was my tur to nudge him with my shoulder. 'Hey, don't make fun of me!" I laughed with him. "I'm not, I'm just confused!" God, his smile made me want to jump on him and kiss him all over. "What's your favorite thing about fall?" He asked me another question, it was strange to see him so intrigued by my interests, not that I'm complaining. "Decorating, but mostly pumpkin carving." I admitted, smiling at the thought of carving pumpkins with my family. Before they well, died. "We should decorate the bunker this year then. Me, you, and Sammy all carving pumpkins! It'll be fun." He exclaimed, "You and Sam hate celebrating any holidays, lt alone, Halloween." I chuckled lightly at the thought. "I'm sure we can make an exception, though I don't really get your love for fall. It's so boring." He stared at me. He was a lot closer than he needed to be. "What?! Auttum isn't boring, there's so many colors.. And pie, there's lots of pie!" I felt our fingers brush against one another. "Now that," he paused, "I love."

We were filled with laughter, and I felt truly happy out here in the dark with him. "I should take you on my walks more often. It's less peaceful but far more fun." I expressed. He looked pleased at that. "I'll admit I didn't come for the walk." He confessed, "What did you come out here for then?" I questioned, my brows furrowed. I fidgetted with my hands. He glanced down at them, then back at me, a look I couldn't read on his face. "Well, I wanted to talk to you about something.." He trailed off, "Dean." "Yeah?" "Spit it out." I teased.

"Look, Sam told me something." He started. Please, no. "He didn't mean to, so don't kill my brother," He raised his arms in surrender. "Oh god, what the hell did he tell you." My cheeks were definitely a little red right now, and the nervousness in my voice didn't help either. "He told me that you might have feelings for me?" He said calmly. And I stopped mid step, and he looked at me expectantly. "I'm gonna kill him." And a wide grin spread across his face. "So, is that a yes then?" Deans voice was cocky. He didn't seem upset by it at all. In fact, he seemed thrilled. "Do you want it to be a yes?" My voice was much more meek than I had wanted it to be. His face softened when he realized how scared I really was. "I mean, I hoped it was a yes.." He mumbled, suddenly being nervous too.

An involuntary downward smile appeared on my face, "then Sam was right. I guess I have feelings for you." "You guess?" His cocky behavior returned. "No, I know I do." I said as I leaned closer to his face, I felt Deans hands find my waist. His lips met mine with a soft kiss, which turned into another kiss, and another one. We both couldn't help but smile against one another. I loved the contrast between his warmth and the cold air. Dean broke the kiss, "You know, I am really starting to like all this fall crap."
