"Light it! Quick!" Aubrey shouted at Gracie, who was hesitently trying to light a firework.

"I'm trying!" Gracie was known for lighting fires, she didn't want to embarrass herself around Aubrey, who insisted they needed fireworks. Since Aubrey hadn't celebrated before.

Gracie lit the firework, quickly running away. "Run, run!!!" Aubrey shouted, scared for Gracie's safety even though she was a good distance away from it now.

Gracie stood next to Aubrey as the firework went off, Aubrey stared in amazment as they went off. She quickly grabbed Gracie's hand. As the firework went on, Aubrey looked at Gracie, and Gracie looked back at Aubrey. They slowly leaned in to eachother, to kiss.

Miguel, who Aubrey demanded to fly out for a few days to celebrate their first fourth of july together, noticed the two about to kiss. He walked off Gracie's porch, over to the two girls.

"Gracie!" he shouted. Gracie and Aubrey quickly pulled away from their almost-kiss. "Want a drink refill?"

Gracie turned around to him. Aubrey too embarrassed to move. "Uh, I'm good, thanks though." She smirked.

Miguel walked in between the two girls, wrapping his arms around both of them, splitting them apart.

The rest of the night consisted of lighting fireworks and screaming, and Gracie and Aubrey looking over Miguel at eachother longingly.

I'M SO SORRY FOR THE SHORT CHAPTER I JUST WANTED TO DO SOMETHING FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY

I have sooo many (literally two) Gracie books in my drafts and I want to release at least one of them, so how would we feel about another Gracie book? Since, also, this one is ending soon.

Anyways, I love you all so much<3
