Blinding lights.

He didn't realize how bright the sun was until it shined on his tear-stained face. A soft groan left his lips. He reminded himself; he couldn't allow his blankets to swallow him whole, he needed to do things productively.

His sleeping figure rose up, almost immediately regretting as his head met contact with his roommates top bunk.

"Fuck you for existing you metal bars,"

He rubbed his head before lazily looking around seeing his humongous clothing pile laying beside his guitar. He stood and walked over with quiet steps to not wake the sleeping figure up top. He was quick to find a fashionable outfit, he wasn't too picky. Whatever clothes fit him they way he liked it is what matters to him.

The cold tile of the bathroom floor met his feet as he lazily walked into it. He looked at the shower, shaking his head as his body wouldn't allow him to just step foot near it, he felt completely drained. His eyes scanned his appearance adding a small scuff at his bed hair and the upcoming small bruise from earlier's incident.

His actions quickened as the figure on the top bunk stirred, he was already dressed and styled before eyes were laid on him.

"Morning to you, Jooyeon, you sleep so much it's insane."

He said with a small grin shaking his head, walking out of the bathroom. Taking his phone in hands, scanning through notifications, "Jungsu hyung wanted to meet us at the cat cafe, he said he saw one that looked just like him," He smiled at the screen before looking at Jooyeon who only nodded with a mumble,

"Jiseokieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you should totally let me sleep in~"

Jiseok rolled his eyes at his friend. "No, just let's go, look you can wear whatever you want and look the way you want to today, no dress code just wake up!" The older would try to persuade his younger friend but the trick wasn't seeming to pay off. He let out a groan, "I'll buy you a pink guitar and-"

Jooyeon sprung to his feet, falling in the process but he didn't care. If he had a tail it would definitely be wagging by how excited he looked as he scavenged for his clothes.

"Never seen you move this fast in my years with spending it with you wow! I'm impressed." The older snickered watching the other leave for the bathroom.

The loneliness entered his surroundings again, his heart sunk as his smile faded into a frown. His insides felt completely dark, in his opinion, almost as dark as his hair is. He knew he shouldn't hang onto the feelings and bottle them up inside knowing his friends would more than love to hear about them. He just couldn't bring himself to drag his friend's moods down just for him. He knew they needed the affection more than he ever will, it's what he told himself.

His never-ending train of thoughts circled in his mind until they were interrupted with the door opening revealing a shiny Joo. Jiseok almost swore he looked like an angel but he shook his head and rubbed his eyes, he was hallucinating definitely.

Jooyeon showed a bright warm smile while staring back at his friend who sat on the floor. "Now you're procrastinating Ji! get up, I want my guitar, neow." The younger showed a pout, stomping his feet as a toddler would do in a teasing way.

Jiseok sighed, standing on his feet. "Geez, you're a loser trapped in a hot body, I swear." The older mumbled to himself as he grabbed the keys, putting a pair of slippers on since his other shoes would take years to put on. He didn't wait for Joo, he knew he'd follow his footsteps the fastest he could, and sat in the drivers seat. The air cooling off the blazing hot car instantly causing him to let a breathe of relief out. His moment of silence didn't last long as his noisy friend sat beside him in the passenger seat, he couldn't blame him though. Jiseok did match his energy most of the time. Just on days like these where he received little to no sleep, it was tiring. He would never let Jooyeon know that. He looked over at his friend catching him change the channels on the radio with concentrated brows. The speakers soon blasted with the song Karma Police by Radiohead.
