My head's a mess but I'm trying regardless

HER footsteps cascaded over to the closest table she could find, her feet carrying her to wherever they chose. Trying to make sure she wasn’t going insane, her hands firmly shut the book, her mind still in denial, silently praying she was just seeing things earlier.
She took a slow, deep breath while her hands peeled open the cover hesitantly and slowly, before she started flipping through the pages once more.

But to no avail to her hopes, there it was again.

Seong Haeyul. All the features she possessed, all carefully and delicately painted on a page in a random book she’s never even heard of.

She stared at the book in silence, as if the answers would jump out of the book from each crevice between the pages that seemed so fictitious in her mind, yet so real in her hands.

“What the hell is going on?!” She banged her head against the table, immediately regretting it after she had gotten looks from other people in the library.
She quickly apologized and lowered her head in embarrassment, finding herself a more tucked away area with not too many people. “Gosh if this is a dream I seriously want to wake up already. This isn’t funny.” She groaned, her voice hushed this time as she took a seat.
She flipped to the back page, skimming the words written down.

You’ll find your answers.

“Well it would be great if I had them right now.” She mentally rolled her eyes, huffing out a small breath as she shut closed the book. She tangled her hands in her hair in frustration, her sanity on the brink of being non-existent.

“Why is this happening to me?” She cried out in her head, feeling a stinging feeling welling up in her eyes. She just wanted to go home, where everything was normal and no uncanny situations randomly fading the line between reality and whatever the girl was situated in right now.

After about an hour of Haeyul being drowned in her thoughts, her eyes began to feel heavy, her upper body leaning down to find a comfortable way to rest on the table. “I just need a few minutes of sleep..” She mumbled to herself, attempting to reassure the fact that she would wake up in a while.
Well, if a while meant the next day, then that would be correct.

Unfortunately, the librarian hadn’t checked thoroughly enough before closing the library either, leaving an oblivious Seong Haeyul to sleep on a table tucked away in a corner behind the numerous book aisles that held endless genres of books. And to no one’s surprise, she dozed off despite the uncomfortable position of her head laying on her arms.
