What will be possible for us is to prove that these features are logically contained within the causes, without our inference always being able to receive experimental confirmation. It is no secret to us that any conclusion remains open to doubt if it is not supported by experience. However, even with these reservations, this research is not without benefit. Although we will only see it as a means of clarifying the previous results with examples, it will also have the advantage of giving them a more concrete and realistic character, by linking them more closely to the data of tangible observation and to the details of daily experience.
