first thing first, i'm not dead and hello!🤣

So, it's uh, been about 4 years since I've even thought about this fic and the fact that I was supposed to basically rewrite it and make it better. I haven't thought about this since I was 19 and now, I'm 23 and man has shit been crazy. I started writing this when I was 17, the same age that Bakugou is in the manga now. Sheesh, I feel old asf.

I'm on the other end of the state, my dad's mom died a week before I got my passport to go see her for the first time in like 12 or something years, my relationship with my mom has somewhat improved since I moved 5 hrs away from my family, I have a bf of a year and a half, and I'm not as depressed anymore.

The only reason I remembered this fanfic was because I randomly logged onto Wattpad on my phone and saw that I had some comments that were fairly recent, and I was like "what the fuck? some people still read this cringy ass fanfic I wrote when I was a horny, depressed and lonely teenager?" and I guess it inspired me to finally rewrite this flaming horny mess that was my fanfic. I started re-reading it and damn, some of it does not make sense.

Like at all.

That and the fact that I kept changing her hero costume, that no other student questioned how she "copied" so many quirks and that whole chapter 8 was a very sad attempt at smut, (props to the og readers for reading that dumpster fire before i deleted it😂)and it was way too early for the still strained relationship between Rukia and Katsuki.

I had this idea that I needed to stick to cannon as much as possible that I don't think I really let Rukia have any sort of character development. I also think I tried to make her like TOO badass, y'know?

Like those random ass weapons I gave her for a few chapters and then forgot about.

Anyways, I promise, to those of you who still read what started as a fanfic to mentally escape my toxic household (mainly my mom), will be a good fanfic despite all the things that happened in the fandom the past couple of years *cough cough* Erin Clover *cough cough* and that whole thing on TikTok with the Bakugou poster and period blood or some shit like that, I haven't really been too into the fandom since I stopped reading the manga which is probably around where season 6-7 is at maybe? idk i think it's been like a year or two since i read the manga

I haven't seen the anime since season 5 dropped and work had me too busy and tired to sit down and watch anything besides numbing my brain playing Genshin Impact or watching TikTok for hours on end. Long note I know, but I have some of my passion for creative writing again for the first time in years. I've slowly been getting back into my hobbies, and I hope that y'all like the new and (hopefully) improved version of this story. Thank you for sticking around if you read the old version and welcome to those of you who are new! I look forward to seeing where this goes as I have a new perspective now.

also since i still can't really draw for shit, i used AI to kinda roughly bring out how i imagine rukia so here's that. idk if she looks short here but she gonna be a tall bitch bc her father is like 7'4 from what ive seen online and i think i actually did a height comparison between him and all might a few years ago and got around the same thing.

anyways she is gonna be 6' starting UA so who knows how tall she'll be at the end of the fic🤣
