"Fine."
Eh? Did I hear that correctly? Uncle Shouta agreed to let me intern with him?
Did pigs start to fly?
"Wait, for real? You're gonna let me intern with you? The lone wolf? Did all that lack of sleep finally catch up to you?" I had asked him the day before if he would let me intern with him and he just gave me his response.
"Don't see why not. You've improved since I last fought with you. Just don't come to class complaining that you're tired." He was getting ready to head out for Katsuki's and Todoroki's remedial classes today. "I have to go to take those two to their remedial class. You can stay here and train until we get back. Feed Oreo for me, 'kay kiddo?" He ruffled my hair before chuckling at my pouting face as I smoothed it down.
"Yeah yeah. I'll feed her. Go! Shoo!" ————————
"Okay, this was half of moms signature move. Just gotta concentrate on turning my body into water." I had made a little stump out of the ground and sat on it with my legs crossed. (I was gonna put "criss cross apple sauce" but that sounded weird so😂) I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, activating my mothers water quirk.
I made a little ball of water in my right palm and concentrated on being the water. I felt the water move to my fingertips and slowly start to cover them. I tried to do this before and could only get my hand to turn into water. The coldness of the water now covered my entire hand and I focused on trying to move it up to my elbow.
It slowly moved up my arm and it kinda tickled. The cold touch of the water was now halfway up my forearm when I heard a loud "Boo!" in my ear. My shoulders jumped and I lost focus, causing the water to fall to the ground. "Ahaha! Gotcha Rukia!" I heard Mina laugh from behind me and I turned around, only to see her howling with laughter.
"Damnit Mina! Take this!" I laughed at her an made another ball of water in my palm, this time throwing it at her. As soon as she looked up, it hit her smack dab in the middle of her face. "Pfft, hahaha!" She was getting ready to charge at me when Tooru came outside to the courtyard. Well, more like floating clothes and some bunny slippers showed up.
"Hey guys! Oh my god, Mina you're soaked!" She was fighting back a fit of giggles but failed resulting in Mina glaring at me playfully before a big grin spread on her face. "Wouldn't be the first time some has said that to her," I chuckled under my breath but Mina heard me anyways.
"HEY! RUDE! AND NOT TRUE! Besides, Bakugou probably tells you that when you two have sex!" She huffed at me and crossed her arms over her chest while turning her head away. "Yep. You know it. My nickname is Niagara Falls cuz I'm always-"
