A few days had passed, and Dua's health had gradually improved. She sat on the sofa with Irha, who had been busy searching for jobs during this time. Meanwhile, Jungkook and Jimin realized it was time to head to the office and went to their rooms to get ready.
As Irha rifled through a stack of newspapers, she called out to Dua, excitement evident in her voice. "Dua, look at this!" she said, waving a newspaper in the air. She had been circling job ads with a marker, her eyes alight with hope.
"What is it?" Dua asked, curiosity piqued as she leaned closer.
Irha pointed to an ad. "There's a job at a mall, and the salary is pretty good. I'm planning to check it out tomorrow," she said, her voice filled with determination and a touch of nervous anticipation.
Dua smiled warmly. "That sounds promising. You should definitely go."
At that moment, Jimin came downstairs, his demeanor calm yet distant. With a playful glint in her eye, Irha called out, "Mr. Ghost, could you spare a moment?"
Jimin, feigning indifference, continued to walk away, but Irha, refusing to be ignored, called out again, "Mr. Jimin, please, just for a minute!"
Finally, Jimin approached her, his curiosity getting the better of him. "Yes, Miss Witch, what is it?" he asked, his tone laced with mockery yet tinged with genuine interest.
Irha, pouting slightly, held up the newspaper. "Can you tell me where this place is?" she asked, her eyes filled with hope and eagerness.
Jimin glanced at the ad and, after a brief sigh, pointed out the location. "It's here," he said,
Jungkook came downstairs, fully dressed and ready for the day. Just as he reached the bottom of the stairs, his phone rang. He answered the call while Jimin watched him curiously from a distance. After a brief conversation, Jungkook hung up and turned to Jimin.
"Hyung, that was Mr. Min," Jungkook said, his expression a mix of curiosity and slight concern. "He wants us to join him for dinner tonight."
"What?" Jimin replied, raising an eyebrow in surprise.
"Yeah, you remember last night when they won the game? I think he's throwing a party to celebrate," Jungkook explained, a hint of reluctance in his voice.
Jimin shook his head, a sigh escaping his lips. "Tell him we can't make it. We have guests with us."
Jungkook nodded, but then hesitated. "I told him that, but he said we can bring the guests along."
Irha and Dua, who had been quietly listening to their conversation, exchanged glances. Jimin turned to Dua, his expression softening. "Would you two like to come with us tonight?" he asked.
Dua looked at Irha for a moment before shaking her head. "No, no, you guys go ahead. We'll be fine here," she said, trying to sound reassuring.
Jimin, however, looked concerned. "We can't leave you alone here at night. Jungkook, tell Mr. Min we won't be able to make it."
Dua, sensing Jimin's determination, sighed and smiled. "Alright, we'll come with you."
"Great, thanks!" Jimin said, relief washing over his face.
Jungkook glanced at his watch and nudged Jimin. "Come on, hyung, we'll be late," he urged.
Jimin nodded and turned back to Dua and Irha. "Be ready by evening. We'll pick you both up on our way," he said with a warm smile.
Dua nodded. "Okay," she replied.
With that, Jimin and Jungkook left,
Evening had fallen, and Irha was frantically pacing around the house, her voice echoing through every corner. "Oh my God, calm down!" Dua exclaimed, trying to soothe her.
