Aiah POV
"What is my ideal life?" I asked Colet as she stares at me full of empathy.
She nodded joyfully as an answer.
"My ideal life..." I said with a calm voice.
I took a glimpse at the window, where i could see different people, different houses and different cars passing by.
The wind blows from east to west as it goes pass by each of the flowers inside the store. I could feel the cold breeze as it pass by my hair and hers.
I stared back at her. Her eyes that looked like jewels shinning even at night, her smile that can captivate peoples hearts. She had a charismatic aura and a loveable personality that i fell in love with.
"I never had an ideal life.." I smiled happily.
Colet stared at me for a while as she arched an eyebrow.
"Huh? You never had one??" She asked with confused eyes.
"Yes... I never had one.." I said.
"Why? Every person has one, even me" She answered still confused.
"Then what's yours??" I asked with a smile on my face.
"Well, my ideal life is to live happily with you." She smiled genuinely.
I cooped her cheeks gently and smiled.
"Well.. Do you know why instead of starting a company, i started a flower shop??" I asked her.
She shook her head left and right.
"It's because unlike Flower shops, companies fight for their whole lives, trying to compete, trying to stay on top." I calmly explained.
"Meanwhile at Flower shops, it's more peaceful, calm and quiet." I added.
I started to remember the times where i always go with the flow, not even knowing where to go, what to do, or what to achieve.
People always has things that they want to become, want to earn or what to accomplish but for me it was hard having to think of such things. That's why i never had an ideal life.. it's because i don't know how to dream..
"Aiah what do you want to become?"
"What's your goals?"
"What do you want to achieve??"That was always the questions that i always avoided answering. I rather live by what the journey gives me.
For me having an ideal life wasn't very easy, i mean like everything could change, right? Or that's what i thought.
"Aiah what's your dream??"
"How do you wanna live your life??"
"What's your ideal life?"Nothing changed..being a child, a teenager, or even an adult. It's always full of 'What' and 'How'. I lived everyday thinking that somewhere, somehow I would gain something. That 'something' never came...
I've waited and waited but nothing came. Instead 'she' came.
Never once in my life, felt like I could dream something and make that dream a reality. I was determined, so I started to court her.
She resembled flowers that's why i decided to have a flower shop. Her face looks like blooming flowers every spring, Her sad side looked like a flower that the snow always covered, Her happiness was like summer and Her peaceful self was like Autumn.
Everyone, even my own parents was against my decision but despite all of this i didn't obeyed them.
Why? Because she was a flower that i am willing to cherish and take care of.Colet, was my dream,my ideal, and my reason.
"Mom.. Dad... I finally found my dream.." I said happily looking at both of them.
I ran outside while carrying heavy bags. It was like Romeo and Juliet but instead of dying, we decided to live the dream we both wanted.
We started to build a flower shop that was now famous. I never once thought that someday, We could make it this far.
"A-aiah??" A worried voice started calling my name.
I got back to my senses. I looked at Colet as i smiled.
"I never had an ideal life, not until i met you.." I said while stroking her hair gently.
She blushed slightly. I leaned my head at her shoulder.
"Thank you for bringing a dream into my life.." I whispered into her ears.
"My one and only flower.." I whispered as I hugged her tightly.
