BGM 1:
"No way... CHAOS military was behind all this...?" Commander Mark gasped as he looked at the symbol on the mutant's corpse. The grotesque creature lay sprawled on the ground, its twisted form a testament to the horrors CHAOS had unleashed. The unmistakable emblem of CHAOS, a menacing skull enveloped in flames, was branded onto the mutant's arm, a grim signature of their handiwork. Commander Mark's face contorted with a mix of disbelief and fury. His usually calm demeanour was shaken, his mind racing with the implications of this discovery. "This can't be good... return to the truck. We're returning to Atlas!" he barked, his voice cutting through the tension-filled air. We sprang back into the truck, our movements synchronized and precise. We had been through countless battles together, but this revelation added a new weight to our mission. The night was dark, with only the faint glow of distant city lights piercing the gloom. The ruins of Neon City loomed around them, remnants of a once-thriving metropolis now reduced to a battlefield.
Mark's thoughts churned as we returned to the armoured truck. CHAOS had always been a shadowy presence, a faction that claimed to be working for the greater good, but had shown their true colours with their monstrous creations. These mutants were just the beginning; there had to be more sinister plans in motion. "Commander, what do we do now?" asked Sergeant Lance, his voice steady despite the situation's urgency. "We need to discuss a battle plan immediately," Mark replied, climbing into the truck's cab. "We can't let CHAOS's actions go unchecked. Who knows what else they can do if they're creating mutants?" The engine roared to life, and the truck rumbled down the debris-strewn streets. The drive back to Atlas felt longer than usual, the weight of our discovery hanging heavily over them. As we approached the fortified walls of Atlas, Mark's thoughts shifted to the implications for their city. Neon City had seen its share of troubles, but this threat from CHAOS was unlike anything we'd faced before. The military faction had to be stopped, and it was up to Atlas to lead the charge. The gates of Atlas HQ swung open, and the truck rolled into the compound. Mark jumped out, his mind already formulating a plan of action. As I got out, I watched Commander Mark head to his command room. Mark's next move surprised me. He contacted Commander Charles, the leader of the Peacekeepers, through a secure channel. He proposed allying to take down CHAOS together. The idea of joining forces with another faction was both promising and daunting. Our city's fate hung in the balance.
"Yes, I've noticed, Commander Mark. My soldiers saw the symbol of CHAOS on the arms of the mutants as well. Odd, if you ask me. Anyway, that aside, I agree with this proposal. We wish to take down CHAOS as well, after all." I heard Commander Charles saying through the Holographic voice call Commander Mark established with him. Commander Mark smiled at Charles's holographic form and nodded. "Good, good, if that's the case, I say we set towards their base tomorrow morning when CHAOS least expect it." Commander Mark suggested. Commander Charles smiled as well. "Very well. We shall strike by morning, then. Just message me when you are ready to attack, alright?" "Understood. With that, we end our little "meeting". See you tomorrow, old friend." Commander Charles nodded again to what Commander Mark said. "Indeed. See you tomorrow." Charles replied before the holographic transmission ended. The next day, Commander Mark assembled all of us soldiers in the Command Room. We stood at attention, awaiting his orders. "So here is the plan," Mark began, his voice authoritative yet focused. "Yesterday night, I established an alliance with the leader of the Peacekeepers. They agreed to aid us in the battle against CHAOS Military. Our mission is to infiltrate CHAOS's Military Base and find their leader. Once we locate Sato Akujin, age 33, Japanese-American, leader of CHAOS, we'll take him down, along with his soldiers and mutated abominations."
