The journey to the sanctuary was tense but filled with a sense of anticipation. Kai and his friends followed Estrella and Kenai through winding alleyways and hidden paths, eventually reaching an unassuming warehouse at the edge of the city.

Kenai led them to a heavily secured entrance, where he input a series of codes and scanned his handprint. The door creaked open, revealing a hidden underground passage. They descended into the depths, the air growing cooler as they went.

Finally, they emerged into a sprawling underground complex. The sanctuary was a hive of activity, werewolves of all ages moving about with purpose. The walls were lined with supplies, weapons, and makeshift living quarters. Despite the utilitarian appearance, there was a sense of community and solidarity in the air.

"Welcome to the sanctuary," Kenai said, his voice echoing in the cavernous space. "This is where we've been building our defenses and planning our next moves."

As the group took in their surroundings, Jonas, Kim, and Tina exchanged knowing glances. Kim was the first to speak, a hint of a smile on her lips. "We should probably tell you guys something."

Kai turned to her, curiosity piqued. "What is it?"

Jonas stepped forward, his expression sincere. "We live here. With Estrella."

Lila's eyes widened in surprise. "You do?"

Tina nodded. "Yeah, we've been helping Estrella and Kenai for a while now. We didn't want to reveal too much until we knew we could trust you."

As they continued to explore the sanctuary, Estrella led them to a large meeting room. Maps and plans covered the walls, detailing various strategies and enemy movements. She turned to the group, her eyes serious.

"There's something important we need to discuss. We've been tracking a figure who's been orchestrating the vampire attacks. His name is Viktor."

Kai's blood ran cold at the mention of the name. He had heard whispers of Viktor, a powerful and ruthless vampire who had caused untold suffering. The room seemed to grow quieter, the weight of the revelation settling over them.
