None of them wanted to tell Charlotte what had happened but Marjorie thought because she knew both of them better that she should do it, she was heartbroken for both of the women but she felt Charlotte needed to know.
'Ring, ring, - hey there marj how are you?"
"I'm good but look there is something I need to tell you"
"Is everything okay?"
"It's Mia"
"What about her? Is she alright?"
Charlottes voice now sounded panicky.
"Charlotte, Mia is on the hospital."
"WHAT WHY??? WHAT HAPPENED, WHAT HOSPITAL I NEED TO GO OV-"
"Charlotte calm down, you remember Alex?"
"Her abusive ex? How could I forget?"
"Wait, did he do this?"
"It technically wasn't him but yes he hired a group of people to kill Mia but me, Reece and Autumn got there just in time although she was securely injured."
Marjorie could tell that Charlotte had started to cry, she could hear the brunettes sobs through the phone, her heart ached for Charlotte.
"If you want I can come over and pick you up to to take you to the hospital?"
"Y-y-y- yes thank you Marjorie"
"It's fine, anything to make you happy my love"
She hung up.
Marjorie could tell that Charlotte was in no fit state to drive. She got her keys and headed out to her car, she felt so sorry for both of the women
